Pros:

Purtroppo, devo scrivere una recensione per aiutare chi gestisce questa struttura per farle capire che se arriva un turista, fuori stagione non te ne devi approfittare. Lo scooter a noleggio pagato più del doppio del il prezzo medio. Ho chiesto un giro in barca per vedere la barriera corallina , con la mia esperienza non si poteva vedere il fondale con il mare in quelle condizioni, il gestore dell'albergo mi ha risposto con un 80 dollari 2 ore.

Great beach view and access with lovely staff.
Pros:

Lovely location with great beach view and access. The staff were lovely and wanted to help. We chose a room without AC as it had better sea / beach view and the room had a ceiling fan so we thought we would be OK for one night. Sadly the fan was far too noisy to leave on at night so we slowly baked. Most rooms do have AC when available.

Cons:

Bedroom fan was really noisy.

Very good value for money stay directly on the beach with friendly and helpful people
Pros:

The location directly on a quiet beach is lovely. Although the property is located near wind turbines, they are not in line of sight looking to sea and are no bother at all. Friendly and helpful staff, particularly Gimantha, albeit with limited English language skills. We were offered, and took, an upgrade to an aircon room with sea view for very little extra money and it was well worth it. Dinner and breakfast were tasty with plenty of fruit for breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing we didn’t like, but the property is very inexpensive so don’t expect high quality fixtures and fittings. Water to our room was connected by hosepipe, so it’s all a little ad hoc, but that is part of the charm

I did not stay there because the room category I wanted to book was not available and other rooms were for me too expensive but I saw the place, it is a nice place in front of the beach, at the beach it is safe to swim.

Heb ervan genoten.
Pros:

Heb er op zich in ‘paradijselijke’ omstandigheden verbleven (zie foto’s), daarbij heerlijk eten, bed was prima, in hangmat van zonsondergang liggen genieten.

Cons:

Verbazingwekkend/onbegrijpelijk dat de omgeving met de exotische/sprookjesachtige kustlijn naar z’n gallemiezen wordt ‘geholpen’ door windmolens en een lelijke (“energie”)fabriek met havenfaciliteiten. Gelukkig merk je er op het hotelcomplex zelf nu niets van. Hopelijk blijven de naburige etablissementen zich inhouden met hun geboenkeboenk ‘muziek’/herrie.

Pros:

The location is really calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff are very helpful and kind, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The windmill nearby is a lovely sight and just a short walk from the hotel. Overall, a great experience!

Great location to chill and swim in the ocean
Pros:

It is located at the beach, each room has a balcony to chill. It is family owned and everyone were very helpful, they even gave us a ride to Puttalam.

Pros:

Great location and view if a little remote. Certainly rustic. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Didn't realise wind turbines were quite so noisy.! Pack of dogs fighting and howling during the night. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes as you can really seal the room. However it was cheap and served a purpose.
