The only positive aspect of my stay was the location of the hotel. Apart from that, there was nothing worth appreciating about the property. The food was extremely overpriced, and the quality was highly disappointing. Instead of dining at the hotel, I would strongly recommend walking to Chatori Gali, where one can find much better quality food at reasonable prices.

Cons:

My overall experience at Hotel President, Gorakhpur, was highly unsatisfactory for the following reasons:
The room had a very unpleasant smell, making the stay uncomfortable from the moment of check-in.
The room freshener used by the hotel was of very poor quality, and its fragrance was irritating rather than refreshing.
The bathroom was unhygienic, with insects flying inside, which is unacceptable for any hotel.
There was no proper hot and cold water mixer in the bathroom, making it inconvenient to use.
The blankets did not have proper covers, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene.
Instead of providing a proper double bed, they simply joined two single beds together, which was uncomfortable.
The window curtains were extremely small—almost handkerchief-sized—failing to provide any privacy or block light properly.
The LED TV installed in a 12x12 room was far too small, making it practically useless for comfortable viewing.
Overall Recommendation:
Instead of staying at this hotel, I would strongly suggest opting for a guest house, which may offer better value for money, cleanliness, and comfort.
