Enjoyed our stay here at this peaceful location.
Pros:

The value of what was received for the cost of what we paid was excellent, and we could not have expected more. The staff treated us kindly and fairly throughout our stay. While the rooms, beds, and overall amenities were what would be expected for the price, they were certainly adequate and acceptable for us. The food was tasty at a great price for what we received. And the location was quite nice as it was nicely removed from the noise of the hustle and bustle of the central city area, with very few horns from passing trucks, something that characterized a previous stay at a different hotel situated on the main road. Overall, it was relatively peaceful and quiet, and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Cons:

The pre-payment process as a foreigner was challenging, as it required trying to pay before reaching India, outside of Booking.com’s platform. That means that I could not pay with a foreign credit card in order to confirm the reservation ahead of time, but had to use a cash transfer app with UPI capability to pay in advance. Certainly gave me pause, but it all worked out in the end.

Wonderful stay in Rajgir off the beaten path.
Pros:

The property is located outside of the city center on the southwest edge of Rajgir. This helped tremendously to keep the noise levels down (but because it’s India you’re never truly left in silence anywhere. But this facility came decently close. The food was good, though slightly slow in coming. We would definitely stay here

Cons:

The check-in and check-out procedures were painfully slow as they are supposedly antiquated. They have “wet” bathrooms, and our bathroom emitted an unpleasant odor. But apart from that we had no issues. For the value it was a fantastic stay.
