Pros:

The room was very clean, the location was excellent and the price very fair. But the young staff who helped us establish whether we actually had a place on a train (we had a wait-listed ticket) were exceptional. They went to a lot of trouble and we very much appreciated their efforts.

Outstanding experience
Pros:

This was definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The service is excellent, all-time friendly and supportive staff. Especially Vishnu is doing an amazing customer service. The rooms are designed uniquely with love for detail and high-quality furniture. Everything was clean and tidy in the whole hotel. Whatever we needed was provided in no time. It's a short walk to the beach and there are many nice restaurants nearby. I would always come back and enjoyed the stay to the fullest.

The stay was wonderful. The staff were very attentive & courteous the location was great .
Pros:

The breakfast was good and quite a banquet.

Cons:

We were unable to have breakfast the day we were checking out at 6 am . We asked for a packed breakfast and they first said that they could only provide cut fruits. I had to ask for some bread & butter . A lovely sandwich with some juices or take away coffee would have been great .

Pros:

The hotel room was very big, modern, and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and organized a driver for us to go to Varkala.

Cons:

Kollam is not the most exciting city, but the hotel can be a good starting point for trips.

A superlative hotel
Pros:

My overnight stay at Prasanthi hotel was quite honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've had in India. I asked for a quiet room and it was given with a smile. Everything was immaculate. The small things ... like a quiet ceiling fan and same for the AC. Windows you could open. Such a comfortable bed and everything super clean and well maintained. And did I mention beautiful. The furnishings and interior design. This will definitely be my choice of hotel when I return to Kollam. Thank you to all the staff.
