Pros:

Klima im Raum war ein Plus punkt. Kaffee war auch super, aber ohne rahm oder coffee creamer konnte ich am 1ste Abend kein Kaffee trinken.

Cons:

Wasser strahl im Dusche war sehr schwach. Duschkopf war auch nicht so stabil gewesen.

Some issues with communication with a manager. A copy of ID has been requested to be sent to generic .gmail.com mailbox to get checkin details. Initial reluctance to issue an invoice. But all resolved timely.

A very convenient place to stay for us close to family. Walking distance to 2 tube lines

This was a self contained unit and not a hotel room. We have stayed there 3 times and noticed this time there had been some improvements to the unit. New curtains, a brighter light fitting and a power point with a USB point. Most essential things were provided. We did not use the cooking facilities except the microwave. We had family very close by. The air conditioning in London’s heat wave was terrific. Heating is also available.

Cons:

The entrance light to the basement units did not stay on long enough to access the entrance. You needed this even in daytime. The steps to the basement units did not appear to have been cleaned at all between our visits and the entrance mat to the basement units inside (a Union Jack) looked like it had never been cleaned. This was in contrast to the rest of the property. No where to hang clothes but we did manage. The majority of items provided were good but a couple of pillows were very thin and very very cheap thin toilet paper ran out very quickly. Maybe after each guest items need to be checked to see they are operating properly eg the shower gel seemed to have a blockage and we had nothing to try to clear it so had to use the shampoo. All relatively small things but it does make a difference when you stay for a number of nights.

Firstly, it was the most expensive nightly rate of the 5 different UK accommodations I stayed in during my 8 days in the UK. But it was the MOST EXPENSIVE !!!
Very disappointing and hence my very poor review and I will not recommend this place to anyone.
When I first arrived at the location I was unable to enter because I needed a code. I was lucky enough to get fabulous help from the local shopkeeper next door ( not from the staff with the Westminster Inn)
I had trouble getting internet service on my Australian phone hence I could not send my Passport to the staff and the man on phone said “sorry we can’t help you if you can’t send your ID”
I am a 71 year old lady with limited tech knowledge so I thought I would need to lose my money for the 2 nights, and go to another hotel. It was such a hot day and very distressing for me. Then with the help of the shopkeeper I was able to finally send my ID and was able to enter the accommodation.
Then I was disappointed with what was inside:
* no air conditioning, just a portable fan which made a loud noise and I had to keep it off.
* mattress was very poor and I also noticed tiny black spots on the sheets and took photos because I was concerned they were bed bugs, also the bed had several long black hairs on the sheets and I do not have black hair !
* the coffee provided was in a container used by other guests and also there were no milk sachets for my coffee.
After being there a short time I realized this was more the style of an Airbnb and not a hotel or Inn as the name suggests.
I did not feel welcome to send a message to the staff after my first unfriendly experience at check in. Therefore I sent a message to Booking.com to explain my concerns about the poor value for money. Booking.com replied to me within 24hours and informed me that the Westminster Inn staff did not wish to discuss my concerns.
