Pros:

Heerlijk lichte en ruime kamer. Fijne tuin met zitjes en kippen. Heel attente gastvrouw. Fijne plek om Rye, Great Dixter Gardens te bezoeken.

Cons:

Koelkast was misschien fijn geweest.

Fantastische gastvrouw. Gaf ook veel tips over waar ik kon eten in de buurt. En een goede tip moet je altijd opvolgen. Mooie, landelijke omgeving. In de verte uitzicht op zee. genoeg parkeerplaats en gratis. Leuk ingericht huis, niet supernetjes of gelikt, maar gemoedelijk en uitnodigend. scharrelende kippen en ganzen rond het huis. En naast een wijngaard. Zij gaan deze dit jaar oogsten (2026).

Cons:

Het viel mij persoonlijk niet tegen maar er is geen televisie op de kamer. Dit is een bewuste keuze van de gastvrouw. En daar benig het mee eens.

Absolutely fabulous - a real hidden gem!
Pros:

It was different! Very cozy and staff extremely welcoming. Beautiful surroundings, chickens and ducks wandering around. It was just a lovely place to stay - away from distractions. Peaceful would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again. Hugely welcoming to guests with Dogs the rooms are very spacious and the beds are massive!!! absolutely loved the complementary picnic basket with fresh fruit & juices, cafetière coffee and freshly baked croissants delivered right to your door in the morning! It’s a stones throw from Hastings or Rye and Camber Sands. Loved it!

Cons:

The large rooms and huge bay windows made the rooms light and inviting. There was a shared living room which was extremely cozy a decking with sofas and gas barbecues out the back. It really was a great place to get away to. We only stayed one night but we’ll stay longer in the future.

Un accueil très sympathique, une grande chambre donnant sur le jardin et un petit déjeuner inclus tout à fait convenable.
Nous avons passé un bon moment à Guestling House.

Peaceful ( even with a main road nearby)
Pros:

Shannon, Gracie and the chickens were very welcoming. The room was really comfortable and the vineyard lovely to walk round. The complimentary (not £75 as on booking,com) breakfast basket with two pâstries each, fresh juice, fruit and real coffee with fresh milk was delivered to our door each morning and the chickens enjoyed the few crumbs left. Definitely stay here again.

Lovely building and large room. Nice communal Lounge with TV - owner (Shannon) was very warm and welcoming. Bed was comfy and room had lovely views and morning basket of pastries was very nice also

We had a lovely stay.
Great location for visiting Rye & Camber Sands.
The property was peaceful and the chickens & ducks made the stay extra Special

Cons:

A key safe for out of hours arrivals would be a great touch.
Other than that the stay was perfect 🫶
