Cocomo Maldives

We had a great stay at this hotel in the Maldives. The rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful, very clean, and clearly well maintained.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and really make the stay enjoyable.

Some reviews mention noise, and that’s partly true. You may occasionally hear airplanes or some construction. But that’s expected when staying closer to the airport. If you want complete silence, it’s better to choose a more remote resort.

The snorkeling is also worth it if you swim out towards the reef edge, where you can spot some marine life.

Regarding the sunbeds, some reviews complain about availability. In our opinion this is more about guest behavior than the hotel. If people reserve sunbeds all day while being away for hours, there will of course be shortages. So please do not blame the hotel.

For us it was a very enjoyable stay and a great place to spend a couple of relaxing days in the Maldives. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Das Hotel ist das Beste auf der insel, relativ neu, sehr sauber
geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr leise. Vom Restaurant allerdings laut vernehmlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Baustelle hin. Es hat nicht gestört. Im Gartenbereich wird noch eine Bar gebaut. Dass auch Armut in der Umgebung auf der Insel vorhanden ist, sollte man wissen, wenn man auf einer Einheimischen Insel Urlaub machen will.
Der Bikini Strand vor dem Hotel ist schön. Sauber. Leider die Korallen tot. Man benötigt Badeschuhe. Viel Sonnencreme und Mückenschutzmittel.
Ausflüge mit scuba adventures sind sehr professionell und zu empfehlen.
Abendessen teils a la carte, teils Büfett im Restaurant. Aber auch sehr idyllisch im Palmengarten vor dem Hotel.
Fazit: da die Anreise vom Flughafen sehr kurz ist, ist es für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen.

Seems like a newish hotel.Modern with good aircon and other facilities. We had a nice welcome towel , drink and cake in our room.
Staff are lovely very attentive. Communication was great overall. Ordered our transfers for us, both to and from Cocomo which was perfect. Staff always keen to make sure we had everything we needed.Main communication via Whatsapp but I am sure phoning would not be a problem.
Hotel has a lovely small pool with warm water which was a treat.
Beach across road with lounger furniture. More loungers either side of Cocomo beach.Sea has quite a bit of coral so u need water shoes. Clear sea and you can see fish with naked eye.
Lots of snorkelling . Also there are things like water bike and small motorboat paddleboards for rent along at bikini beach, short stroll along from Cocomo own part of the beach.
Himmafushi has only a few restuarants. Indian Cafe has lovely food . We also went to Ellie. Both located at harbour.
It was Ramadan when we were there so we felt a bit restricted during day as no eating drinking outside to respect the culture. It did look as though there may have normally been more going on especially food/drinks on beach tables.At night it all lights up which is lovely.
Remember this is a local island and therefore conservative clothing is required when away from beach. Also no alcohol anywhere on island however they do have some mojito juice drinks
A few days stay will be enough to get a flavour of local island life.
Public ferries are avaliable limited timetable but hotel will help with this cost 25USD pp.

Nothing was too difficult for staff or management. Highly professional in all respects. The hotel is in a fantastic location, beside bikini beach and absolutely fabulous on low tide, in the shallows and deep pools of the reef, stretching out for at least 500m into the ocean. Spotted sharks prowling the water too.We had breakfast only and it was delicious. Ibrahim and Co made our whole experience so special, putting on an Anniversary beach dinner, helping with a room change and getting us to and from places on time. Can't wait to see the new cafe and spa, next door, when complete.

Le check-in tardif car ils n'avaient pas d'arrivée sur nos chambres. Cela nous a fait très plaisir et bien rendu service.
La cuisine est très bonne avec un chef adorable mais peu varié car toutes les denrées sont importées.
Les pauvres, ils subissent des travaux à droite et à gauche et on leur souhaite que ça se finisse vite pour leur tranquilité.

Hotel tres confortable, tres bien placé avec sa plage privée. Excellent petit déjeuner et tres bonne table. Personnel charmant et compétent.

Very nice staff, jetty transfer, free early check in, very close proximity to the beach, nice breakfast, relaxing and feel-at-home atmosphere.

Отличное местоположение, буквально метров 20 до пляжа бикини. Вкусная еда, шведский стол, выбор небольшой, но всё есть. Хороший интернет. В отеле много сотрудников, к любому можно обратиться и они тут же пытаются помочь в решении вашей трудности. У моей семьи был полный пансион - это был правильный выбор 💯. На острове есть кафешки, но цены там не гуманные. Недалеко от отеля есть магазин продуктов, в нем можно приобрести средства гигиены, а на 2 этаже магазина мы нашли маски для снорклинга. В отеле можно заказать несколько видов экскурсий, в холле лежит альбом с ценами на них. Горячая вода без перебоев - это для меня было очень важно, так как имею аллергию на холод. У нас был угловой номер, с 2 балконами - это очень удобно, так как один из них был на солнечной стороне, наши купальники и коралловые тапочки высыхали на нем за полчаса😂
По природе: чуть подальше отплыть от берега есть разнообразные рыбки, живут в старых кораллах, на берегу есть безобидные акулята белого цвета с черной точкой на плавнике, они чуть правее от лежаков стайкой живут, плавают. На деревьях живёт много летучих лисиц. Иногда на территории появлялись крупные попугаи. Ящерки, раки-отшельники, крабы. В общем - ничего опасного не замечали.

Huge appreciation to Nawaz, who expertly organised my activities, including an unforgettable dolphin-watching experience and a visit to the Cinnamon resort. Everything was seamless, well planned, and stress-free.

Robbial and Imma were outstanding during the dolphin-watching tour. Thanks to their sharp spotting skills, I was able to see dolphins up close and record these beautiful memories, something I will cherish forever.

Cocomo Maldives is a hidden gem in Himmafushi—peaceful, welcoming, and run by an exceptional team. I left with a full heart, incredible memories, and a strong desire to return again. 🌴✨

El alojamiento sin duda fue excepcional. Dormitorios muy amplios, camas muy cómodas, con aire acondicionado y ventilador, internet y SmartTv. El baño bien equipado y cambio de toallas a diario, incluso las toallas de playa. A diario había buffet disponible en el restaurante pero también la opción de Menú a la carta. Recomiendo totalmente elegir la pensión completa o media para su estadía, ya que no hay muchas opciones para comer en otro lugar en la isla. La comida del bufete varía a diario con una selección de carnes de pollo y res, con acompañamientos muy varios de arroz y vegetales. También algunos pescados como atún. Precios muy accesibles. Ibrahim y su staff fueron muy atentos en todo momento, muy dispuestos a ayudar a resolver todos las inquietudes y requerimientos. Hay operadores para diferentes actividades en las Maldivas, que fueron gestionadas por el staff del hotel. Prácticamente no había que preocuparse de nada. El hotel estaba frente a la Bikini Beach con vistas geniales.
