PENSION LUCERNA

Very noise. You could hear people talking from other bedrooms and since there’s a popular restaurant downstairs, people and music until late at night.

No tiene la opción de desayuno. Carece de aire acondicionado. Habitación justa de espacio.

No poder desayunar y personal....justito

We had been walking the Camino and arrived on a Saturday at around 4:30 pm like most pilgrims . Even though there is a restaurant underneath they had stopped serving food and said we could not eat until 8 pm. Nothing else in the area was open and there were no supermarkets nearby. We could not even get a bottle of water and there was no water provided in the rooms. I had did not even have space to open the suitcase however my friends are slightly larger. The worst thing was that the walls were so paper thin you can hear everything across the four rooms a couple turned up about 1:30 am in the morning and proceeded to have intimate relations throughout the night that was so intense that my room was shaking and their headboard was banging against my wall. When I tried to indicate my distress by knocking back, they ignored it and continued their activities throughout the night .
When they finally settled in the early hours of the morning I was kept awake by the snoring and coughing.
The bed was hard and the pillow is lumpy. I got a very poor night sleep which is an ideal when you have to wake early in the morning to get back on the Camino we may have been unlucky to have these guests on the same floor as us, but I wouldn’t recommend for Camino’s who need a good night sleep. It seemed more like a party Hotel as other guests arrived in in the early hours of the morning adding to the disturbance.

The metal curtain was 3/4 down when I arrived. I raised it to get sunlight but when I tried to close it later in the evening I couldn’t close it. And there is no one around after hours to ask. There’s an attached restaurant so it got noisy at night.

I loved everything. It was my favourite on my whole Camino !
