Eine gute Adresse fürs Absteigen in der Nähe von Basel.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war so gut wie zu Hause. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Da kommen wir wieder.

I did not stay and left after seeing the haunted place. I do not recommend anyone to book this place
Pros:

A haunted place covered in forest with no one around. Really bad. I entered in and left without staying after seeing the horrifying place. It was all dark and there was not a single person in the whole old building. I complain this to Booking.com and do not recommend anyone to book this property.

I would love to come back to Basel in the future to truly enjoy my stay and get some rest, but I will not return to this

I liked the natural surroundings of the property

Cons:

During my four-night stay I received only one towel set, no one came to empty the trash or check the room, and the reception was often closed. The balcony door did not close properly, which felt unsafe, the refrigerator was broken and smelled bad, and the room was very uncomfortable with no air conditioning in 30+ °C. Overall, the conditions did not allow me to rest or enjoy my stay, and the price did not match the quality. The only positive aspect for me was the nature around the property.

Very nice.
Pros:

Location is great, bus + tram to get to city, approx 30mins. Nature is nice, very quiet place over Basel. Good WIFI signal, children playground.

Cons:

Nothing particular. Maybe little bit more information about coming and going, or about Basel.

Beautiful, peaceful, but isolated and too expensive
Pros:

Beautiful, historic location. Gorgeous gardens. Peaceful. Lots of great walks nearby.

Cons:

I arrived late at night, having driven from the UK. Unfortunately, it was dark and the reception had closed. Despite the friendly email and directions from the receptionist, it was a difficult place to navigate. Everything appeared closed up and completely abandoned at the weekend, so we felt quite isolated. There is a bus but you have to change buses twice to get into Basel.
On the Sunday morning, we eventually found a cafe on the grounds (after speaking to another guest) but it was very expensive, and we were the only people in there. Overall, I found this place beautiful but a little strange. Perhaps it would be better in the summer or during the week when there are more people around.
The accommodation is comfortable but basic (hostel style). It was overpriced for what it is.
