Nothing really.
Very clean , nice food and wonderful welcoming receptionist Jess.
Nothing
Friendly staff, spacious comfortable room, excellent breakfast, lovely gardens. Birthday greetings note in room
Evening mea was a bit disappointing. Quite small starter portions. Shepherds pie didn't have any additional veg. Tasty but lacking
Quiet area for sleeping no traffic noise comfortable bed, great breakfast!
No light above bathroom mirror for shaving purposes.
Beautiful property and very accommodating
Dining room was quite dark when eating dinner
Very homely perfect for a relax and somewhere to stay when visiting places such as battle, Rye and Hastings
Nothing it was perfect for what I wanted
Everyone is always friendly. Food is excellent. Rooms are very good. We stay here quite a lot.
We could hear music in our bedroom from the function room.
Excellent room, very clean
Hotel doesn’t do dinner on Sunday evenings. We weren’t made aware of this until arrival (on Sunday evening). Hotel is well away from villages so had to travel into Hastings to eat.
Quiet location. Characterful hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff.
Nothing really!
All staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was quiet with a lovely view over the field opposite. Food was good and service was quick.
Food was very good but as not all meals came with vegetables or salad it would have been good to have a list of side dishes available.
The breakfast was very good, they had hot and a good selection of cold. A very big cafetiere of coffee we asked for extra toast and that was no bother either.
The evening menu, my husband would have like a bit more selection more meat on the menu.
Nothing the hotel can do but you come out onto a busy road.especially if you want to go right.
Quiet and cosy
Road leading to it from Rye was poor
It was clean and in a good location. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
I would suggest bringing an extension lead as there are not many plug sockets in the room.
