Calm and quiet place to stay near to the foot hill entrance
Pros:

Close to temple, neatness and cleanliness

Cons:

The person hari who was on duty on 22nd evening was very helpful and kind

We stayed at Hotel Elite Residency, Palani on 23rd September – and it was an absolute nightmare. After a blissful Dharshan, we came back exhausted and just wanted to rest. Instead, the so-called room service attendant kept knocking on our door repeatedly, disturbing our sleep and giving us no privacy at all.

When we finally ordered lunch (just a simple veg fried rice and curd rice), we were shocked at the exorbitant charges – ₹400 for such basic food! Even proper 3-star hotels don’t overcharge like this. To make matters worse, during checkout the same old man kept pestering us for tips. Even after giving ₹50, he shamelessly demanded ₹100!

This place is highly unprofessional, overpriced, and completely disrespectful of guests’ privacy.
Fellow travellers and yatries – PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL at all costs!

Good place to stay with family and visit mururgan.
Pros:

5 minutes walk from the adivaram ganapathy temple , staffs were very helpful, specially Srihari taken care of us and we can see the murugan temple from the rooms.

Disturbance of drilling noise
Pros:

Too much noise of drilling continuously for several hours throughout the day.
