Our overnight stay at Waves was comfortable, not perfect, but better than I anticipated
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable, shower was hot and the beds were comfy.

Cons:

Room closets were not the cleanest, and we had an issue with someone taking our Parking slot. Not much the staff could have done about it unfortunately

Extremely disappointed and we will not return to this venue.

Location was good and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Scant information on arrival. I filled out online form day prior to arrival and was asked to do again at desk. Questioned why and person found my form in her system. No wifi details until I returned to desk some 1 hour later. The weather can’t be controlled, but the basic facility conditions can. With wind blowing from north, the large gap around door caused a constant draft whistle inside. Wind changed to south west during evening and exposed the 12 mm gap in the bedroom window slide side. Basic maintenance not completed for many years? The slide window cannot fit back into runner as the window frame is flimsy and bent. The wardrobe was missing both doors. A natural walk in design maybe?

Pros:

Although located on the main highway, our room (at the back of the property) was not affected by road noise at night. Our friends stayed in a property a little closer to the highway and also had a quiet night sleep. Check in and check out was easy and although we didn't actually deal with any staff in person (late check in), communication from them was friendly and helpful.

Rooms were comfortable, a bit dated but everything was in good condition and the place was clean. Handy to have the pub right across the road so we could walk to dinner.

We only stayed one night but would definitely consider staying here again.

Pros:

Great for an overnight stay.. definitely not 5 star but it’s comfortable very clean & has all the extras .. pillows, blankets, bottled water Tea & coffee, shampoo etc…Good Value for money by today’s standards.. very friendly staff!

Great place to stay, very comfortable and roomy.
Pros:

Big rooms, good kitchen and lounge area, hot shower. The staff were super friendly, and nothing was an effort for them. The place was quite full on the night we stayed but all guests were quiet.

Good value
Pros:

Great location, the room was clean. The receptionist on arrival was super lovely!

Cons:

The external air-conditioning units were right outside the windows, it was very loud. So much so my husband moved to the couch.

Unfortunate timing - no power through our stay
Pros:

Central location in Geraldton and our room was set back from the main road making it quiet. The staff accomodated a late checkin for us with a key collection box as we arrived quite late in the evening.

Cons:

We had no power the entire duration of our stay which was only overnight. We have learnt there was a power outage effecting the area however when we contacted the hotel they said it was out of their control and no rates adjustment was possible.
The kitchen was missing basic features such as breakfast bowls which made the stay more difficult.
