Pros:

The building is beautiful and calm reigns. The friendliness and efficiency of staff was remarkable and we enjoyed the quiet garden, the debates on its interesting artwork and the delicious breakfasts.

Cons:

All pleasant for professionals, settled older crowd but perhaps less suited to a younger crowd. Difficult road crossing for shops.

Insane lack of separation between the sleeping and bathroom areas.
Pros:

Quiet and well-positioned near to the centre of Leuven. Easy parking. But the positives were hugely outweighed by the negatives - see below.

Cons:

The see-through between the shower/bathroom area is just terrible. Aside from the lack of privacy, if you want to use them during the night - this involves turning your on the light in the whole room, disturbing anyone who is sleeping. What an insane plan! What kind of insane architect came up with this idea - and why would a hotel not see the obvious flaws?
Also only cardboard cups instead of proper glasses and cups was crappily downmarket.
