Comfortable, clean, a little ascetic, outstanding grounds.
Pros:

No breakfast as such, there was coffee, tea, juice, and one morning croissants

Cons:

Could not make out what the place was meant to be! Was it meant as a B&B, as a conference centre, as a religious centre, as a place for specialised groups to stay.

Comfy stay near Cork
Pros:

Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and the bed was amazing! The house itself was very pretty, with big windows all over overseeing the garden, which was well looked after.

Cons:

We’d love if we had the opportunity to have a “real breakfast” at the hotel. They offered complimentary tea and coffee and some pastries in the morning but they were all gone when we got to the coffee room. A shame …

Grandiose , mais...
Pros:

Le côté atypique est charmant : passer quelques nuits dans un manoir, profiter d'un salon "comme dans un drama de la BBC" c'est agréable. Le personnel est charmant aussi, tout à fait aux petits soins. (Par ex ils se sont occupés de nous réserver un taxi pour 5h30 du matin) Le parc est très beau, le salon du petit déjeuner innondé de soleil le matin et ouvert sur le parc (dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de quoi s'installer sur la terrasse, on a déjeuné sur l'escalier, c'était sympa aussi). La montagne de croissants dignes des meilleures boulangeries françaises !

Cons:

Les équipements sont légers : Un seul siège dans une chambre de 30 M2, c'est limite ! Je comprends que quand on veut tout meubler en meubles d'époque c'est difficile, mais quand même.... La lumière crue d'un plafonnier led qui fait plus chambre d'hôpital que hôtel de charme. La loupiote en guise de lampe de chevet. Le lavabo de la taille d'un lave-mains dans une grande salle de bains.
Mais surtout, la TV : pas d'accès aux chaînes nationales, seulement à une appli de chaînes gratuites ...et surtout une wifi qui ne marche pas ! Donc pas de télé pendant les deux jours, c'est le problème quand on est au bout du couloir, loin du relais. La réception nous a assuré s'en occuper, mais rien n'a changé.(C'était le WE)
Pour notre départ très matinal il y avait bien l'accès aux boissons chaudes, mais rien à manger (les fameux super croissants)

Beautiful house and garden (garden is huge, full of delicious blackberries), quiet, nice view. Tea, coffee, croissants for free. Very friendly staff.

Pros:

Location and property is perfect for a visit to cork. The staff are all very friendly and a credit to the place. We will be back and I believe breakfast will be apart of the accommodation offers. At present there is complimentary croissants and tea/coffee available all day which is a fantastic touch.

Cons:

We liked everything as it's only opened recently there will be more to offer us on our next return visit.

Una casa señorial.
Pros:

Está un poco lejos del centro pero cuando llegamos nos entusiasmó sus alrededores. Es una casa señorial, con unos jardines cuidados en lo alto de una colina desde donde se divisa la ciudad de Cork. Recomendable siempre que se viaje en coche.

Bel hôtel vieillot et lugubre avec des chambres en sous sol, au lit confortable
Pros:

Site sécurisé, personnel gentil et à l’écoute, extérieurs bien entretenus, intérieurs de l’hôtel à la décoration rustique et luxueuse mais vieillotte. Lit très confortable.

Cons:

L’atmosphère de l’hôtel est sinistre. L’impression d’être dans un lieu abandonné.
Pas de petit déjeuner mais un salon avec des boissons et des croissants secs et une ambiance lugubre.
Chambre « attribuée aléatoirement » au sous sol, dans un couloir digne d’un hôpital. La chambre à la décoration morne est vieillotte est dotée d’un lit très confortable et d’une salle de bain fonctionnelle.
