Pros:

The attention to detail, the hospitality, the decor, the nice little touches like umbrellas when it rained. Plenty of common space to rest and relax. We enjoyed the rooftop patio.

Cons:

If we had stayed longer, a place for our clothes would have been nice, such as a closet.

Pros:

Loved the coffee bar and snacks in the lobby. The Coastal Chateau in the 5th St lot was as close as you can get to the beach-Outstanding!!! Beach tags were included in the stay, which was very much appreciated.

Pros:

It’s a beautiful place, very clean, very comfortable. The two bedroom had a lot more room than expected with a full kitchen and living room.

Beautiful hotel!
Pros:

Property was beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner was so nice and responsive to questions. She went above and beyond helping us keep our fudge cool before we left.

Cons:

The Victorian house design is beautiful but it comes with thinner walls and floors where you can hear people in the hallway or walking in the room above you.

Cons:

Der leichte Notenabzug wegen wenig Stauraum und Ablagen im Zimmer, hellhörigen Türen und Decken (wir haben jeden Schritt der Obermieter gehört), Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen

I was not happy with the overnight parking. Too far from location. I feel like I shouldn't have to schedule housekeeping. It should be automatic.

We had a relaxing stay, from sitting on the porch, to the roof top deck or in our perfect room.
Pros:

The facility is decorated perfectly like you where in a spa, and they missed nothing! The owners make them selves present and where very welcoming. You have to check out the GOLDEN THRONE!

My husband and I had an amazing experience staying at the Coastal Chateau! It is the cutest family owned boutique hotel and looks exactly like the photos. The contactless check-in / check-out process was super convenient, our room was clean, and the hotel was located a short two block walk to the beach. The staff were also very responsive and easy to get ahold of. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the OCNJ area!
