The staff and location are great. The balcony view and easy beach access are fabulous. The beds are comfortable. The shower in room 232 was awesome. Ive stayed before and had a regular shower/tub combo in other rooms. Ive stayed 3 times and will definitely return.
The people above our room were very noisy. Our room didnt have a blow dryer surprisingly. I wish the fireplace would produce actual heat, ours did not.
Balcony view was phenomenal. Easy beach access and close to everything.
The view was amazing, and the beds were comfy.
Some metal items (door handles and locks) were weather worn-probably from the salt in the air.
It was close to the beach but that’s about it
The parking was awful, the room numbers are so small you can’t see them from the parking lot, and the room was dirty, the plugins were shoved into the wall we couldn’t use them, the shower would go from hot to cold hot to cold, the shower curtain rod is installed weird so the curtain doesn’t stay shut, and gets water all over the bathroom.
The front office was unfriendly, I requested towels because we only go two and I was called back 15 minutes later telling me they didn’t have anymore to give us. Oh and the booking website says dog friendly, and they are absolutely not.
Price was ok. Right on ocean, nice view.
Water wouldn't get warm in first room, got moved to another room. 3 towels in room for 4 people. Needs updating. Pool chilly. Hot tub not very clean. no pool towels available twice. Beds not comfortable, cheap looking bed skirts. Chair in first room Dirty, gross. place needs ALOT of updating / cleanup.
Loved the charm of an old hotel. The location was perfect and the staff were amazing. The room was super cute and clean.
The beds were interesting lol. Felt like you were going to roll off the bed due to whatever topper was on them. The balconies need some TLC due to weather and the salt air they were corroding. But for a hotel that was built back in the 1930's it has been well loved.
Location was great. The staff were pleasant.
Pool room was incredibly moldy. My room had a bad food smell. The menu provided for the Mist restaurant was outdated according to the person who took my order, then told me he was doing me a favor to accommodate my request.
The view was beautiful and the beds were comfortable.
The property is a little dated and finding our room was difficult, the signage and layout is very confusing.
The view is exceptional. I loved the bed, balcony, pillows, and overall facilities. The price was decent for this time of week during Spring Break
Fix your hottub and sauna. Please?
I liked the view from the balcony
The room was dirty. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was so small I had to stand between the toilet and the wall or step over the toilet to even shut the door or use the shower. The water pressure was horrible and the water was either too cold or scolding hot. The light above the sink only worked a couple of times because the switch was faulty. The phone didn't work so I couldn't call the front desk to ask for more towels. Upon closing the door when we first arrived there was a bandage that was covering the peep hole I'm guessing was left by a previous guest that was not cleaned or removed. The pool and hot tub room had mold in them not just on the walls but on the plants they have in the pool area as well as ants. Each time we went to the pool there were no towels and tge hot tub always had 5 or more people for l9ng periods of time using it so we were never able to enjoy it. Overall I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed about our stay for the money we spent.
