Amazing ocean view, clean, fun nautical themed room. The wait to check in was super long and the gal at the desk gave us a 5th floor room for the troubles. Loved how easy it was to get to the beach.
Could have been a little cleaner but that’s just nit picking. Huge rip in the screen to the balcony. Bed skirt was a little nasty as well and the furniture chairs but was very clean over all.

Front desk lady was amazing
I didn't like that the pool wasn't available to kids after 9pm. That wasn't advertised and my kids were disappointed. I also would like breakfast included. Pool staff was rude.
Not much
Way over priced. TV didn't work, called front desk, hotel person could not get it to work. Parking is horrible, I am disabled and had to park way away from our room.
Beach view was very nice. But the door was so tight it took 2 people to open up the sliding glass door to go onto the balcony. The fire pits were very nice, and they gave you smore's to make, but due to marshmallow droppings from previous guests it had ants swarming everywhere, can't help it with Nature!
There was sand in my bed sheets when we checked in. Holes in the flooring, dirty and moldy vents and very dusty like had never been cleaned. Splatters on walls. Shower kept backing up into bathtub. (clogged drains) Bathroom fan was broken. Paper thin walls. You could hear every conversation from neighbors. There was no DVD player but advertised to have one. I brought DVD's I could not play for my child. Balcony door extremely hard to open and close. Balcony chairs were cracked or broken. Pool enclosure was moldy. Spa had broken and missing tiles. My bathing suit snagged on them. Steam room was out of order and bolted shut. Zero towels anywhere in the pool area with no signs to ask receptionist for them who was nasty and chastised us for not knowing we had to ask for them the first time. The 2nd time we asked for them, they were out of towels. I had to wait 15minutes for towels to be brought to me and were given towels with holes in them. Beds are very hard and noisy/squeaky. Power kept flickering (could be environmental as I did notice a streetlight was out later)
Proximity to beach was really only upside.
Neighbors were super noisy from 11PM to well past midnight. I understand kids can be a handful but WOW screaming for hours at midnight is insane. Front desk ladies were not the most friendly. The room smelled of carpet from the 80's era, maybe think to replace that stuff. No shampoo or condition or body soap for bathing and sure I could bring my own, but thats only if I knew it wasnt going to be supplied at all. Heating system is outdated and the curtains do pose somewhat of a fire hazard. All in all, not the best.
Breakfast was a good value but more menu items and staffing would be a plus
Rooms are getting pretty worn down and dated some basic updating to the rooms would be a wonderful addition
Fantastic room right on the beach. The Mist restaurant was wonderful.
