Comfortable and quiet stay at the end of the Great Ocean Road.
Pros:

We booked a standard motel room which was quiet, comfortable and with a nice view. The bonus was the access to a 'resort style' kitchen/ dining/ living area in a building next door. From there you could cook dinner in a well equipped kitchen, eat at a dining table and then sit in a lounge and enjoy the view. Also equipped with a good quality table tennis table.

Cons:

Nothing wrong with the motel. Nelson is very quiet off season, which could be considered a bonus!

Very Helpful manager
Pros:

Great clean room. Had a community kitchen/games room which was fantastic. Fully equipped with everything you need to cook dinner, watch some TV, play some games with the kids. Very Spacious. BBQ there to use.

Cons:

Better presentation as you drive in.

Amazing, I will be back, Darryl!
Pros:

There are several features you might like. First, the building is new, it is not outdated. Second, the kitchen is amazing and the utensils are gorgeous - plenty of room in the kitchen with tables, coaches, gaming area. A perfect spot for families. Third, the view and sceneries you get from the accommodation are superb. Fourth, you have a small fridge, an electric kettle, as well as tea and coffee inside your room, plus a milk in your fridge. Finally, the owner, Darryl, is such a gentleman.

Cons:

Everything was OK, no negative side. I did not have a soap and a shampoo in my room. I guess it was an oversight. It was not a big deal at all. The inclusion of a fan in the toilet could be supplementary, again, it was not a big deal. The property has other features which can make it 10 out of 10.

Will definitely let friends and family know about this place if visiting Nelson.

We enjoyed our stay in Nelson, a quiet, picturesque town handy to the many attractions of this area
Pros:

Friendly host. The updated room was comfortable, clean, well insulated and with nice views of the river.
The common area was great with great cooking facilities, dining and TV area and great views of the Glenelg river near the estuary
