Host is really kind, location the spite it's in heart of old quarter it's very quiet. Totally recommend

Great location, spacious room, fair price
Pros:

Perfect location! Walking distance to everything in Old Quarter. Host was very communicative via whatsapp. Fair price for the property and the bedrooms were spacious with a good bathroom. Would absolutely stay again.

Cons:

There can be quite a bit of noise late at night, however this is to be expected for the location and you would experience the same anywhere in old quarter

Pros:

The host was super helpful, trustworthy and accommodating. The room was big, clean and very quiet. Free water and top ups.

Cons:

I’m not a fan of carpeting in rooms. Also the place was a bit tough to find, although on a busy street, there’s only a little sign on a door which is open during the day. I would definitely not stay in that neighbourhood again.

A great experience staying at CharmCham.
Pros:

CharmCham is the perfect play to stay in Hanoi. Right in the centre of the Old Town, off one of the streets on the infamous Beer Street. Though you cannot hear any of the noise from the room! The rooms are lovely and kitted out for all you could need. Most importantly, the owner, Thinh, is an amazing host who went above and beyond for us during our stay. In his words, “serving lovely guests is my happiness”, which really reflected on to our experience. Couldn’t recommend Thinh and his home enough. Thank you!

Pretty much worth it for the stay! Thank you Sir Thinh for accommodating me - a female solo traveller.
Pros:

I like that it was close to the center of Old Quarter. Room is very spacious. The owner is also very kind that he helped me carry my luggage going up and down. He is also very caring in terms of roaming around Hanoi. He can suggest various things that can help you buy the things you need. The place is within the Beer street so it can get loud and busy at night but I dont hear the music much in my room.

Homelike feeling, but in a noisy neighborhood.

Very nice host, homelike feeling

Cons:

Being on the first floor, you hear anyone going upstairs very clearly... While this is part of the homelike feeling, it is also uncomfortable and unpleasant.

There isn't really hot water, but that's a minor inconvenience.

The location is actually in the middle of the tourist/backpackers quarter, and while it's nice in the day, the evenings are incredibly animated and noisy with clubs and bars playing very loud music. The noise can almost be ignored when closing the windows, but not quite...

A vendéglátó készséges volt, mindenben próbált segíteni, írásban whatsapp- on, Végül találkoztunk is vele és nagyon jó fej volt.
A szállás a bulinegyed közepén van, ezt mindenki vegye figyelembe, bár minket nem zavart az éjszakai party hangulat.

Cons:

Pozitív, építőjellegű kritikaként mondom, egy kicsit, jobban lehetne figyelni a tisztaságra. A fürdőszoba kicsit penészes volt. Illetve a klímát be se mertük kapcsolni, az olyan koszos volt belülről, amikor belenéztem. Ha erre odafigyel akkor szuper.

Pros:

Location was ok.

Cons:

The room was dirty, we felt very uncomfortable and slept in our own sleeping bags rather than the sheets on the bed. We had booked in for 4 nights but only stayed the 1.
