Everything really. The location is excellent for us, easy parking, very quiet. Comfortable rooms, nice restaurant and REALLY friendly staff. Great Continental breakfast.
Lots of fruit at breakfast, but limited choice of vegetables at dinner.

It remains one of the calmest places to stay. This is our 4th stay and we always feel relaxed and refreshed after a stay here. I always say that if I were to write my novel, I’d do it here.
We spent a joyful afternoon sitting in the sunshine, watching swallows dart through the air, followed by a sensory stroll through the abbey gardens. Absolute bliss.
Continental breakfast is a little limited.

We arrived to the sound of the Abbey bells, wandered round the beautiful gardens, sat on the private veranda outside our bedroom listening to the wind sighing in the trees. The lift was a life saver for me. We attended Sung Latin vespers on the Saturday evening. On the second night we had the sharing platter and the cheese board which were both excellent. And the continental breakfast was really nice too. A great stay.
The only low point was the uninspiring main course at dinner on the first night.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful in every way to make my stay enjoyable.
I liked everything from the moment I arrived. Parking is great, access is great, the peace is wonderful and all the staff are amazingly friendly and happy to help with any questions, bookings, advice etc. The continental breakfast is really good. The restaurant is lovely and the food delicious. I would live here if I could.
