Hotel Nilkantha

The basic amenities within room are not upto the mark and lack very basic requirements. The description of the room in the site also doesn't match with actual reality. They didn't have a proper charging point of mobile within the room, lacks a mandatory sofa set to sit ( only two plasctic chairs), no toiletries within bathroom ( only two one rupees shampoo Sachet and one three rupees sample local soap), no rack within bathroom, no added facilities like electric kettle, milk, sugar etc.. This hotel is more like a holiday home or Dharamshala rather than a resort. No proper relaxing facilities in fron of the sea side, only you have to sit over rusted plastic chairs available scattered.
For the price you are paying there are much much better hotels available in Mandarmani.

Swimming pool is not cleaned regularly

they told me our booking is not confirmed

Room amenities, cracks on wall, dusty window, stain floor etc.

Limited availability of food varieties

Room amenities are almost zero for 9800/- tarrif
Toothpaste and toothbrush was not given, when asked (at the time of check out) the manager was indifferent and well trained to speak loose. He has informed me that since guest do waste toothpaste that's why we dont give it, unless it is requested.
Means you charge you don't provide. The Day starts with bad mood.
No kettle, No tea or coffees bag, No minibar inside room, Walls are damaged, windows were not cleaned, floors have stains.
Sitting chairs inside rooms are those which are used in shamiana or banquet functions for wooden tea table.
Mineral water taste salty never tasted bisleri like that. Bought kinley from outside shop.
No door mat. Staff gets into the room with shoes and slippers. Note hotel is adjacent to sea, floor become sticky. So customer has to carry his own home slippers.
No intercom telephone. I am asked to use my mobile to call the reservation number for any service.
Unless called for the left over plates, the same will remain outside the door. Shows lack of management.
Property is still under construction it seems.
Hotel needs two hours to serve the lunch or dinner after they take order. Unfortunately they don't take orders on time. Planning lacks.
The last line of staff are very polite but supervisor and mangers are definitely not from hotelier background.
Horrible roads to reach out the hotel.
You can hear music coming from adjacent hotel.
Bottom line - Lacks in room amenities, lacks in Hygiene standards and lacks professional approach to handle customer.
If you want to visit as a tourist especially with family and give equal importance to stay and tourist spot then it is not right place.
Also if you are often visit top hotel chains in India then this place is not right for your experience.
Opinion is purely personal as per my expectations vs deliverables from hotel side.

1. Cleanliness was not there due to sand dust.
2. Current was off all of a sudden no backup generator for 2hrs during these hot season.
3. Price was more as we stayed in suit.
