Gateway hôtel Madurai
Pros:

Le Gateway hôtel a été notre pied à terre pour visiter Madurai. Nous sommes arrivés tard dans la soirée avec une réservation à la dernière minute et nous avons été accueillis par l'ensemble de l'équipe avec un grand professionnalisme. L'accueil est personnalisé dès l'entrée au portail. On vient vous chercher en véhicule, on vous décharge des bagages, on vous offre une boisson délicieuse. EVIN le réceptionniste de nuit a été notre principal interlocuteur. Il nous a reçus avec un grand professionnalisme, il a pris le temps de tout nous expliquer, de nous proposer des activités le long de notre séjour. EVIN se rend toujours disponible pour le moindre besoin, attentionné et réactif, nous n'avons manqué de rien et nous n'avions plus qu'à profiter. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est fabuleux et très varié allant du buffet indien au buffet occidental. Des plats savoureux. Toute l'équipe de restauration, du serveur au chef apporte une attention toute particulière à tous les clients. On se sent très bien. Les équipes d'entretien sont toujours souriantes. Pas une seule fois, nous sommes passés sans avoir un bonjour. La marque de fabrique de cet hôtel est le respect du client et le sourire. Un grand merci également à la personne qui nous a fait la visite guidée du matin des alentours de l'hôtel où l'on se rend compte de la beauté du parc dans lequel se trouve l'établissement. C'est un dépaysement total où la nature est présente à chaque coin, des paons, des écureuils, des oiseaux de toutes les espèces, des arbres et des plantes de diverses espèces, un endroit magnifique où venir observer le coucher du soleil est un bonheur privilégié et des jardins où l'on peut se reposer et prendre son temps. Vous pouvez également bénéficier de services de taxi et même qu'on vous amène et qu'on vienne vous chercher de l'entrée de l'hôtel jusqu'à votre chambre.

Cons:

Le Gateway du fait de son emplacement excentré de la ville et niché dans les hauteurs vous éloigne un peu de la ville mais vous pouvez la rejoindre facilement avec les services proposés et les rickshaws. C'est en même temps un avantage et un inconvénient car nous ne voulions pas déranger le personnel pour nous déposer.

Hôtel héritage avec un charme certain
Pros:

La piscine est top, dans un beau parc/jardin.

Cons:

L’hôtel a besoin d’un rafraîchissement , bien que j’ai personnellement aimé retrouver l’atmosphère des hôtels de ce type d’il y a 20 ans

A wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Madurai
Pros:

The Gateway is peacefully located, set in wonderful grounds overlooking Madurai. It has fantastic gardens, excellent facilities and spacious comfortable rooms. The restaurant food was excellent, as was the breakfast. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Cons:

The bar was closed during our stay and service in the restaurant was a bit slow but not a great problem.

Best hotel we’ve stayed in to date after 4 weeks in India.
Pros:

Views & the gardens of the grounds. Staff very courteous & polite & very helpful. Lovely big bed. Food in restaurant excellent

Cons:

The location at the top of the hill offers wonderful views over city but downside is need a taxi to go & see anything. Pool area particularly the beds need replacing but believe work is going ahead soon with that.

Avventura coloniale
Pros:

La struttura dell'albergo. Coloniale con quel gusto retrò. Sembrava di rivivere in un'altra epoca. Arredato con gusto. Colazione molto buona e ristorante top!

Cons:

Nella spa non ci sono massaggiatori uomini nonostante ti chiedano nel format da compilare se preferisce un massaggiatore maschile o femminile.
