We were not expecting 5 star when we booked and for what we paid but the hotel was excellent vfm
Pros:

Friendly cheerful staff, lovely room that was clean and comfortable. The Vietnamese Restaurant was very nice and the food excellent. Breakfast was well planned and met our needs.

Cons:

The mattress was far too soft for our liking but that's a personal preference.

Perfect for our trip to the jail.
Pros:

We needed a ground floor room, which we'd failed to mention. Staff very accommodating and sorted it for us. Room and shower room were clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good. Staff polite and efficient.

Lovely staff the hospitality was excellent

Room was dated and I got bitten on my face by some bug

Excellent location for visiting Bodmin, great breakfast and selections for dinner.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast menu included in cost.

Cons:

Lighting in the car park came into the room at night. Did go off late.

Hotel lovely,but evening meal poor
Pros:

It was fne

Cons:

We had an evening meal which we both didn't think was very good,I had duck which was not .crisped up on the out side and fatty the veg very poor, my husband had a chicken in a bbq sauce and was very disappointed, we would definitely use the hotel again if we were in that area but would not have our dinner there.

Big room, food was good including free large breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

No AC, tv remote quit, they gave us new batteries, that wasn't it.

Next time I’ll to be put in the main house, not the annexe

Dinning room, meals available in evening, and a nice breakfast.

Didn’t like the annexe, as too noisy early in morning, doors being slammed
