Solo la parte de acceso al mar
El hotel es muy viejo y las camas son super viejas y nada comodoad
The beach views and bar
The shower room was a little small
Grocery store across the street
Access was locked at midnight. TV didn't work. Had to pay extra 1000pesos just to have one person visit when it was only me staying there. Concierge was very rude. Felt intimidated.
my only reason for booking at the barracuda was out of convenience to scuba juan for a guys diving trip.. although i travel here frequently i usually stay elsewhere and not out of convenience as i do not mind the walks to the dive location. So for the sake of convenience. i think that is the only positive thing i can honestly state at this time
well...the music is constantly LOUD and when the cruise ships are in the pool area is very lous as people are bringing in their own mode of music which just intensifies the music already loud at the pool area. the 50% off menu...what a joke. very limited and certainly no reason for me to eat or drink here. what i did try was not good at all! there were times when the pool area wasnt busy and we waited and waited for our drinks because the bartender was more interested in texting or roaming on his phone AND not to forget that one of the bills i signed off on i was charge the regular price for the 2 beers that were supposed to be half off AND i told him my room number...I would have made a stink out of it at the time but I at this point was so frustrated that it wasnt worth my time or efforts . The wifi in the room is in and out and the tv well...is there no option for English? No blankets only a sheet...no bathroom toiletries. Soap or something would be nice and the tiny refrig in the room does not hold much so dont bring back leftovers coz it wont fit. No ice or ability to make ice either. I have stayed in some generic air bnb in the area that offer you more than the barracuda has to offer and I will not stay here again. I will walk the distance for comforts and its about the little things that make things a comfortable stay. the rooms need some updating...very old and rundown
Great Location…friendly staff. Good food at restaurants.
All good
Great location
Hotel location: you can walk to everything
Little beach, on site restaurant/bar/beach club was great- thet are family and treat everyone that way. Thru out my week I saw many different times them hugging returning customers from years past.
Good little snorkle spot, peer jumping (about 3 meters) fun vibe, play NFL games in English, reasonable food and drink.(pay in cash and stay the hotel you get great discounts) view from the rooms (all of them) pretty great
Overall quite clean Adjoining to bar, dive shop and little medical facility
Certain rooms have loud traffic noise at night
Beds are hard, hot water sometimes. Older hotel
Very minimal in amenities and decor
Not bad for the price
Perfect location and affordable
WiFi only in lobby. A microwave in the room would be nice.
The view
No table on the balcony
Staff were so friendly my room was right next door to the pool and the dive shop liked that allot
No WiFi in room and I was getting sewer smell from my toilet.
Close to town. Has a pier for dive boats to pick you up. Friendly staff. New mattresses
Could use minor cosmetic touch ups
The location on the beach close to town. My dive Boat picks me up on the dock did a nice shore dive too. New mattresses and pillows
I like it its the old Mexican hotel with good AC. Some people might want something new and luxurious. I like this style
Relación precio ubicación
Todo bien
The bar associated with the hotel, No Name Bar, is a bit scammy. Just be careful when paying and understanding your bill at the bar. I was charged tax despite the 16% is required by law to be included in the menu price. Note, there is a "hotel" menu that Barracuda guests get 50% if you pay with cash. In all fairness, "No Name Bar" is a different management than the hotel.
