It was a place to stay when I needed to be in Piestany.
Pros:

I have stayed in all the Ensana hotels in Piestany - this time I chose Splendid on cost alone. My room was fine. I love the location and I love walking through the park.

Cons:

The food was indescribably awful. No individual yoghurt at breakfast - so you know that big tub just gets put back after breakfast. Everything was sloppy. And amazingly, no coffee after breakfast - you had to buy it in the lounge. And really shocking is the fact that no water is provided - you have to buy it. A spa hotel with no water in the rooms! I didn't have any treatments because none seemed to be available. It is so different form Thermia Palace and Esplanade.

Pros:

Izba v poriadku, poloha hotela v peknom parku na kúpeľnom ostrove. Bohužiaľ kolonádny most, ktorý spája ostrov s mestom a pešou zónou je uzatvorený. Aby sa hostia dostali do mesta, je potrebná obchádzka po ďalšom moste.

Cons:

Mali sme stravovanie all inclusive, ale úroveň klesá každou návštevou hotelov na kúpeľnom ostrove. Slabý výber jedál, chlieb na raňajkách nebol čerstvý, teplé jedlá počas obeda a večere len vlažné, káva v bufete iba do papierových pohárov, na miešanie paličky namiesto lyžičiek. Ako v bufete na ulici.

Úroveň hotela bol priemerný, bolo by vhodné už niektoré nábytky vymeniť, vrátane závesov a záclony.
Pros:

Raňajky boli vždy čerstvé, chutné a každý si mohol vybrať, na čo mal chuť. Vždy bolo aj ovocie, čerstvá zelenina, niečo sladké. Aj obedy a večere boli veľmi chutné a dobre propravené.

Cons:

V izbe mi chýbala na balkónových dverách sieťka, zaťahovanie záclon a závesov bolo problematické.
