Please note that bookings for the Gallery Restaurant should be made directly with the Hotel at the time of accommodations booking. The restaurant is extremely popular and tables cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that the restaurant is fully booked on New Year's Eve.

We will be extending and refurbishing our Garden Room from 20th February to late April. Unfortunately, there will be disruption during this period to the front of the hotel.

Guests will still be able to dine in the Gallery Restaurant.

Our usual views will unfortunately be disrupted during this time.

Amazing hotel in beautiful setting
Pros:

Brilliant staff , location for chatsworth estate, lovely feeling the moment you walk in , relaxed and professional at the same time , superb hotel

Cons:

Only small thing is the menu in the garden restaurant , could be changed slightly , maybe a pasta dish or burger could be added for bit more variety , and different soup on different days please

A lovely couple days. A classy old-world hotel staffed by excellent people.
Pros:

The staff, meals and communal areas were all excellent. Both restaurants were very good, the Gallery exceptional.

Cons:

Our only gripe was the bathroom which had a shower over the bath and no hand rails. We are not young!! As pointed out by the lovely receptionist, I should have requested a walk in shower.

Es war rundum perfekt!
Pros:

Die Einrichtung war wunderschön und das Personal war durchweg freundlich und sehr bemüht, sämtliche Wünsche zu erfüllen. Man kann dort sehr gut zur Ruhe kommen und den Ausblick bei einer typischen Tea Time genießen.

Amazing stay in a beautiful place
Pros:

The place is in a beautiful location, walking distance from Chatswoth House and park. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and supportive. My daughter left her reMarkable tablet in the room. Heidi and the reception team were so amazing in finding it, and taking extra efforts to courier the parcel to my home address. We will back at this place in summer months

Pros:

The property was fabulous and in a great location.The staff were absolutely wonderful, the food and service was superb. The room was magnificent- we didn’t want to leave.

Pros:

Location - we went to the Christmas at Chatsworth the next morning (not to be repeated...)

Cons:

Cost - very costly and you would be far better off elsewhere. Service in the restaurant was really slow and they were not at all busy. Portion sizes small.
