Please note that bookings for the Gallery Restaurant should be made directly with the Hotel at the time of accommodations booking. The restaurant is extremely popular and tables cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that the restaurant is fully booked on New Year's Eve.

We will be extending and refurbishing our Garden Room from 20th February to late April. Unfortunately, there will be disruption during this period to the front of the hotel.

Guests will still be able to dine in the Gallery Restaurant.

Our usual views will unfortunately be disrupted during this time.

Pros:

Beautiful and close to Chatsworth.

Cons:

The reception is ok nice but not warm enough, do not feel we are welcomed. The room window is very close to garden restaurant , you cannot walk and talk freely in the room when the window is open, especially in hot summer you have to open windows as there is no air conditioning. The Michelin restaurant doesn’t value for money.

Amazing place. Staff were all lovely.

The room was amazing. Bathroom is huge. Lovely little terrace outside where we could sit and chill.

A very pleasant stay for a very sad occasion as we were attending the funeral of my husbands brother
Pros:

Location perfect, breakfast was lovely with helpful and pleasant staff we also ate in the hotel the evening of our stay and the food was excellent.

I'll never forget it!
Pros:

Loved the quiet relaxation & being made to feel special.

Cons:

Room a bit dated. Lock on bathroom door engaged & couldn't be unlocked from the inside. Good job I had my phone with me to call reception otherwise I could have been stuck in there unable to raise the alarm.

Great location and short walk to Chatsworth grounds.
Pros:

A lovely historical building, great breakfast and a gorgeous outlook from the terrace for pre dinner drinks.

Cons:

Breakfast was served in a dark dining room - it could have been so much nicer in the bright conservatory or even better, on the lovely terrace. We were told it was too stressful for the staff!
