Please note that bookings for the Gallery Restaurant should be made directly with the Hotel at the time of accommodations booking. The restaurant is extremely popular and tables cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that the restaurant is fully booked on New Year's Eve.

We will be extending and refurbishing our Garden Room from 20th February to late April. Unfortunately, there will be disruption during this period to the front of the hotel.

Guests will still be able to dine in the Gallery Restaurant.

Our usual views will unfortunately be disrupted during this time.

Wegen dem Ausdruck «at Chatsworth» haben wir geglaubt, dass das Hotel beim Chatsworth House liegt. Nachdem wir aus dem Bus ausgestiegen waren und nach dem Hotel suchten, mussten wir erfahren, dass dieses 30 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt liegt. Mit Koffern und Rucksäcken war das zu weit. Einen Bus gab es für lange Zeit nicht und Taxi waren wegen einem Anlass nicht verfügbar. Zum Glück hat uns dann eine nette Angestellte des Chatsworth House auf ihren Heimweg im Auto mitgenommen. Nicht auszudenken was wir gemacht hätten, wenn wir angekommen wären, nachdem das Chatsworth House geschlossen hat. Es sollte darauf hingewiesen werden, dass das Hotel 30 Minuten zu Fuss vom Chatsworth House entfernt liegt.

Not as good as I had hoped.
Pros:

The room was amazing and the hotel was too. The staff were friendly and helpful but the food was disappointing considering the the standard of the hotel.

Cons:

Breakfast was really disappointing. The coffee was weak and the eggs Royal seemed to be more about quantity than quality. There was a lot, but it was cold and just not very nice. The staff did say that they had a problem with the coffee machine and replaced it, in their mitigation, but i think that is not really good enough for the standard of hotel. I personally prefer quality of quantity.

Beautiful and close to Chatsworth.

Cons:

The reception is ok nice but not warm enough, do not feel we are welcomed. The room window is very close to garden restaurant , you cannot walk and talk freely in the room when the window is open, especially in hot summer you have to open windows as there is no air conditioning. The Michelin restaurant doesn’t value for money.
