Great value, nice hotel.
Pros:

Location is great, a 1-minute walk to a main road where minibuses pass very frequently and beyond that is the beach and boardwalk.
Hotel is nice, everything is clean and comfortable. Courtyard with pool is lovely.

Absolutely loved this hotel
Pros:

Lovely ambience, very quaint and so much nicer than a big modern hotel. There are only 20 rooms so not crowded. Very friendly staff. Would definitely choose again. It was a wonderful stay but too short. Great location.

Nothing. Just a note to hotel, maybe a few more sunbeds around the pool.

Pros:

This was a training hotel. It was once a beautiful mansion so the conversion to a hotel has been tastefully done keeping it's nostalgic feel.

Pros:

A pleasant hotel for its price category. Convenient location close to the promenade, about a 3-minute walk away. The best nearby beach for swimming is Rockley Beach, around a 10-minute walk. The part of the beach closer to the hotel has no rocks and a very soft sandy bottom, making it perfect for swimming.
Upon arrival at the hotel around 3:00 p.m., we had to wait until 4:00 p.m. to check in. The welcome rum punch helped make the wait more pleasant. The room is quite spacious and has a balcony. The bathroom is clean, bright, and recently renovated. The bed is comfortable.
Room cleaning is done daily. Beach towels are provided.
Soap and shampoo are available, as well as body lotion, but there is no shower gel.
Free Wi-Fi is available.
-Nearby, there are various cafés, bars, and a shop with a pharmacy. I recommend the beach bar Chill Cafe Bar & Grill, located about a 3-5-minute walk from the hotel. Delicious cocktails and food, especially the grilled fish and quesadillas.
The hotel is good value for money. As possible improvements, it would be nice to replace the pillows and change the breakfast system, making it more varied and extensive.

Cons:

- the pillows are not very comfortable
-there is no duvet provided; instead, a terry blanket or a sheet is offered
-breakfast is almost the same every day: eggs prepared in the same style, potatoes, bacon, and beans. There are mini croissants and muffins, but unfortunately they run out very quickly, and even early in the morning around 7:20 a.m. they may already be unavailable. The fruit selection includes apples and tangerines. Tea, coffee, and juice are provided. You can also order toast with butter and jam.
What we did not like is that breakfast is not self-service; it is quite limited, with very little pastry, and there is not enough for everyone.
-standard rooms do not have a refrigerator or a hairdryer. There is an ice machine available for guests on the second floor.

Cons:

Frühstück kein Buffet, es gab jeden Tag das gleiche. Das Frühstück portioniert und man konnte keinen Nachschlag bekommen.

A hidden gem
Pros:

We left a cruise ship in the morning and wanted somewhere to stay until our late evening flight. The hotel were able to allow an early check so we spent a comfortable day relaxing by the pool and in our room. We have stayed here in the past. The hotel is in a quiet location about 200 metres from the sea and boardwalk in Hastings.
