Pros:

Having comfy lie in. Watching the morning break over the horizon then observing the weather changes over the distant hills followed by the rain!

Cons:

Extended stay from previous day but couldn't get back into room as key not updated to reflect this so needed to return to reception from 12th floor (thank goodness for elevators!) A couple of tv channels had no sound whatsoever, spoke to a manager who said they would fix it but I said leave it until after I'd gone as didn't want to be disturbed

Pros:

Most things as always. Room spacious, clean, well equipped with tea/coffee etc. 12th floor really good view of the river, surrounding area. Comfy bed.

Cons:

Breakfast was not up to the usual standard. Dry , overcooked, less choices than before ie no mushrooms, the offering was just about luke warm and there was over an hour until the close of breakfast time. Very unimpressed, disappointed.
Surprised by limited tv channel choices, lacking Welsh ones!

Perfect location if arriving by bus.
Pros:

It's an easy short walk from the National Express bus stop and near a shopping mall.

Cons:

The reception area; a few more comfortable seats would be welcome whilst waiting for our room to be ready, or whilst waiting for friends the next morning to pick us up.

Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Newport werde ich wieder hier residieren
Pros:

Der Aufenthalt war rundum gut. Das Bett war sehr bequem, Essen bestens. Ein Kolleg war ein bisschen enttäuscht vom Angebot im Fitnessraum. Ich kann ihn selber nicht bewerten, da ich ihn nicht besucht habe.
Das zu nutzende Parkhaus im Friars Walk war zwar ein paar Minuten zu Fuss entfernt, dafür aber recht günstig.
