Nice stay but needs improvement
Pros:

Beautiful location right on the sea. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Amazing sea views from our room. Some nice restaurants right around the corner. Good location as a base for a coastline hike.

Cons:

The mattress in our room is in desperate need of a change. Wobbly loose headboard and saggy mattress didn't lend itself to a good night's sleep. Would have requested a change but the view was too nice, so decided to stick it out. Decor looking a bit tired. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing. Everything cooked to order, but ingredients didn't appear to be high quality.

Excellent stay and will definitely will be staying again
Pros:

The Hotel was very clean, the staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The bar prices are very reasonable, Hotel situated just across from the sea and a very good breakfast was included in the price.

Amazing place, Great staff!
Pros:

I enjoyed my 1 night stay at the hotel. The room was clean and the views were exceptional. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. Perfect location. I will be back very soon😊

Beautiful seaside location and a historic place to stay with friendly staff and well-appointed rooms
Pros:

Lovely, well-decorated room with a nice view and friendly helpful staff.

Cons:

The room was slightly cold at times, although once we mentioned this at the desk it got warmer and was fine after that.

Good stay
Pros:

We stayed here for 1 night to see a show at the Congress theatre, amazing location, staff were really friendly, rooms were lovely. We only intended to come to Eastbourne just once for this event as we didn't think there was much to do here, but we enjoyed it so much we are going to come back here again in July and this is our hotel of choice!

Cons:

Only thing really is that the bar wasn't well stocked, but I think that may be down to staying in march and very minor detail but the sofa at the dressing table was below the mirror so had to stand to do makeup.also check out at 10am was a bit tight and a rush in the morning.
