Pros:

We had a great stay! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Excellent location, very helpful staff
Pros:

Ideal location directly across from the beach and easy access to the town centre. We were attending Eastbourne tennis and the hotel is very close by. The original room we were allocated had a few issues but we were very quickly, without any fuss, moved to another room which was perfect and had a gorgeous sea view

Cons:

The smell from the plug in air fresheners throughout the hotel was overpowering and unpleasant.

Great location, historical building, small bed
Pros:

Exceptionally clean, historical building, great location at the seafront with almost no distance to Eastbourne tennis tournament.

Cons:

The bed was short and narrow, the room was rather small.

Cons:

My room was quite small and the bed not particularly comfortable. I paid for a double room with single occupancy but one set of towels (only 2 small ones) were removed after the first night.

Seafront hotel with dreadful standards. Fawlty Towers in Eastbourne.

The waitress at breakfast was pleasant and helpful

Everything else .
Room tiny. A double room but the bed was not a double. We asked for a fan as the room was boiling hot. This was delivered… but broken! Heated towel rail was switched on in 38 degree heat. Toilet in room was dirty ( same in toilets in public area). Shower in the evening had two temperatures - hot, and red hot! We had checked before booking that bar snacks were available. The snacks consisted of crisps 🤨.
When we listed the problems at reception in the morning, there was absolutely no apology. This is without doubt the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at in the UK.

Very comfortable. Staff absolutely delightful!
Pros:

I had a single room with sea view which was cosy but was clean and had everything I needed. Room was well presented, towels nicely folded on the bed, with toiletries, little biscuits, bottle of water. All very comfortable. Bathroom was snug.
