We were in Tirur for a Hindu festival and ended up in this rather "rundown" (meant in a positive way) town. We loved to be the only tourists in town among the very friendly, always smiling and helpful Indian locals. The hotel was the only available option in town for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful with arranging public buses to get to the Hindu festival. We loved the town, the market and the Hindu festival but we especially loved the very friendly locals who wer always willing to talk and help. Tirur is certainly off the beaten path and it was a very interesting (positive) experience.
Rooms has only windows facing the hallway. Air conditioning is at the lobby and in the room but not in the hallway and in the room where the breakfast is served.
Location. Pleasing Staff .
They don't allow any guest in the room. When an elderly visitor came to meet me, in his presence they said they don't allow guests to room, but the conceded.
Room is too small. Congested facility.
Friendly staff, clean and new facilities
Curtains let through light, so darker curtains would be great.
The staff were quite humble and helpful. We loved the location. It's located on walking distance from bus and railway station.
I stayed at Metro Residence from January 25 to 27, and it was a good and pleasant experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation. The staff was helpful, and the only thing to note is that the rooms don’t have windows, which may take some getting used to.
