An overnight stop on a trip up Baja California peninsula. Excellent place to rest, visit a pool or beach, and enjoy good food and drinks.
Older property along a river with palm trees. Has some history with John Wayne and Olivia Newton John having stayed there in the 70s.
Quiet and comfortable which is what we look for.
Beautiful place . Good food & staff . Great rooms. Tranquil
nice get away beautiful location lots of trash on the road in and all along the high way the Mexicans just don't get it
We stayed 2.5 yrs ago same time ,Feb 2022
Price double up but the property is same condition and the far from everything, restaurants… shopping etc
By any normal hotel standard, this place is poor. But, as far as Mulege is concerned, this place is one of the better ones. To begin with, the road to the hotel off the "highway" is not paved and is rough. The hotel is inside a walled area; but there are private residences in the area. Signage to the office is poor. I ended up walking into an elderly American's house by mistake. Luckily he didn't shoot me - LOL! He directed me to the hotel office. Rooms are concrete bungalows with beds on concrete slabs. No electric outlets, except one in the bathroom. No closets to hang clothes. A nail on the wall is a make-shift hanger. No WIFI in rooms, only in the lobby and restaurant area, which worked well. Breakfast not included. MXN 40 for a cup of coffee, unless you have breakfast at the hotel. Daily maid service, which is good. Quick & plentiful hot water in bathroom. Mirror in bathroom not above sink. Parking near room. Took a nasty fall by tripping over a low-rise concrete barrier walking to the swimming pool area because there were no warning markings to watch my step. It's a ripoff to charge what I was charged for two nights at this place. I'm just glad I only stayed at this hotel for two nights and was able to walk out
This was a delightful place to stay for the night. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Delicious breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again!
Comfortable and quiet
Cool hacinda type location.
The grounds are beautiful and the showers are warm. A great option when looking for a place to spend the night when driving north or south.
Instalaciónes viejas
The price is very expensive for the conditions of the hotel
Great property. Internet only in lobby is a bummer for the price.
The beds were rock hard, worst bed ever. Barely slept.
Que contara con algún tipo de transporte
Outside of the reception/restaurant/pool areas which are rustic but comfortable the gardens, walkways and rooms (particularly bathrooms) are extremely shabby and the rooms are very dark. However beds are comfy and its quiet. Food wasnt the greatest. Staff are helpful and friendly though, and it has that rarest of things in Mulege, indoor bar/restaurant....that alone is a big plus given how cold the evenings get.
