Great hotel for a short stay in Nagano!
Pros:

The location was about a 9 minute walk from Nagano Station. Staff was kind and the facility was clean. Perfect for a family of 4 to stay in a single room (Japanese-style beds).

Cons:

I wish the beds would have been made instead of folded up on the floors. We had already stayed in another Japanese-style hotel on our trip, so we knew how to set them up quickly, but it would have been nice if they were already laid out and made up.

Excellent hotel in Nagano City
Pros:

Excellent service, clean rooms, good Japanese breakfast.

Staff do not speak much English but go all out of their way to accommodate (often with help of AI translators on our phones 😄) but they are enthusiastic in ensuring our stay is excellent.

We stay in the tatami rooms, which were very clean, meticulously laid out and really comfortable.

Cons:

The location is a 10 mins walk from the Nagano station but it's not a deal breaker with a huge 7-11 kombini and a Sukiya just 1 min away.

Great for a 3 night stay!
Pros:

The staff were really welcoming and helpful with our stay.
Room was a great size for 2 people with 3 suitcases and really nice facilities.

Bath is probably a little smaller, 6ft2 difficult to fit. 5ft9 was able to comfortably.

Its a slightly older hotel and aimed more towards businessman there for conferences but as travellers we found it quite nice

Cons:

Slightly further from the station than originally expected, but still very easy to get to. 10 min walk to Nagano station. Roller luggage on the brick pathways was a bit of a nuisance - but that's my lesson learnt to get a travellers backpack.

The accommodation is ageing as well as the fittings in the room.

The location is not near to the Nagano JR station. Walking distance can be challenging. We are taking taxi/Uber to/from station and hotel.
