i like if the staff at receptionist more humble and serve us with smiling..
Everything is fine with us..
Except the Tv is not working & the aircond dont have a remote.
Location to town & station
Tropicana Hotel in Gemas is located in the center and its very easy to find from Train staion.
Just like the location easy to find and near to the train and bus
Large room and comfortable beds. Good air con and shower. Close to the train station for an overnight stay between trains on the Jungle Line.
TV didn't work. Limited dining options in the area.
We wanted to stay one night and this was the most convenient hotel. We arrive late and checked out early. It’s about 3 stars and for the price it was what we expected.
Some toiletries like a tooth brush would be good. There just two cakes of small soaps and a soap dispenser. The hotel could offer to sell toiletries too.
The staff tried to help but weren't very good. The hotel would have been acceptable except for the noise issues below.
The location was very noisy with trucks, loud motorbikes and fighting dogs. The electricity was off from 10:15pm to 1:15am, which they told us about the day before our stay. What they didn't tell us was that when the power went off, the emergency light in the room came on.
Just good to stay to get some rest.

The room is good for family
1. There were no hangers in room to hang clothes.
2. Noises of people shouting in the middle of night and disturbing sleep.
3. The water from pipe was slow. Apparently there were water cut in town.
STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY.
To indian ladies upon my check in & Chinese Uncle upon my check out was really friendly.
Nice approach, nice talking conversation.
Due this is my fst time visit to Gemas.
