Value for money if you dont mind hotel patron noise.
Pros:

Easy access and walking to beach / long commercial jetty. Short drive to boat ramp for fishing or Hinchinbrook Island.

Cons:

These rooms are behind the Lucinda hotel, directly opposite the beer garden, and is not sign posted as Lucinda village. ‘Reception’ is at the bottle shop. noise from hotel can be a problem if you want an early night. Other guests also smoking outside rooms (so a problem if your windows are open).

Nice place for a stay.
Pros:

Very clean and tidy place to stay. Staff were excellent. We had a really good meals at the pub and the pool was nice for that morning swim. Parking outside the room was good to have. Very convenient for us.
Would stay again if we get back to that part of the world again.

Cons:

No breakfast at the hotel, had to drive to the local cafe which served cold coffee. Not having breakfast there again. Bathroom and Kitchen facility could do with an update.

Wonderful location and a very clean, motel with friendly staff
Pros:

The location of this hotel is convenient and the facilities are great. We only needed the room for an overnight stay and it fulfilled that function perfectly. It was clean and convenient to the hotel (25 Meters to the dining area.) Waking up to views of Hinchenbrook Island and the sunrise was wonderful.

Cons:

Being on the corner of a major road to the boat ramp and next to the train line (which delivers sugar to the Lucinda port at all hours) means there is a bit of noise from road and rail traffic but this was a minor issue and did not disturb our sleep. We could hear the band at the hotel but it was not annoying.

For a last minute trip the only choice in accommodation but we were pleasantly surprised.
Pros:

It looked newly renovated. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped for a motel

Cons:

It was pretty noisy at night time with people walking around the car park late (midnight) that weren’t mindful of the motel. (Not the fault of the motel though). Maybe some signs to be quiet would be good.

Lovely Villa
Pros:

The room was really nice, all new, very roomy and exceptionally comfy bed, with all the essentials and a great big ensuite. Right there at the pub, which was really nice and done up lovely with 8 screens, so great to watch the footy, a big stage, so I imagine they have local music aswell.
