Lovely room in a quiet setting
Pros:

For Pekoe Trail hikers it is a fair distance from the end of stage 14. Unfortunately the host wasn’t expecting me even though I had a confirmation from booking.com. However she quickly pivoted and provided a lovely private room with ensuite and two tasty and plentiful meals. I also got to meet her extended family. When it came time to pay the amount I had on booking.com was different to the higher rate she normally charges for the room. Not sure how that happened but we negotiated a compromise rate.

Very special, welcoming, incredible view
Pros:

It was a very special stay at Mandakini Villa. All the family members were so kind and gave a very warm welcome and they tried to make everything possible for me. I felt very welcome. The hospitality was so special and the food was also delicious!
It was one of the best stays and encounters I have had in Sri Lanka. Even after I checked out, I was looked after very well.
The location is incredible, very secluded and quiet with a great view. I can highly recommend a stay here. Many thanks for everything!

Exceptional
Pros:

The hosts made our best evening of sri lanka with local curries and perfect atmosphere not far away from Pekoe Trail. Wish we could stay longer :)
