Pros:

A brilliant location about 200 m from St Mark's Square

Cons:

there was no comfortable lounge to sit in. also housekeeping continually failed to top up the tea and coffee in the room even though we asked several times. A small point, but annoying if you wanted to make a drink.

Very hot room in November, and the staff did not care!
Pros:

Breakfast was good selection and plentiful.
Desk staff in different to any issues - my room was 27 degrees celsius and when I raised this issue with the front desk they said there is nothing they can do as its november and their AC is turned off for the season. My room was on the lower floor and it was very cold outside, and so it was clearly an issue with the hotel. They told me to sleep with the window open - I was a solo female traveller in a lower floor in an annexe building - I was not going to do that for my safety. Overall I felt a bit intimidated by the all the male staff who got quite annoyed.

Amazing location! We got the room with the terrace and it was a wonderful little bird's eye view of this corner of Venice. The staff was highly attentive and accommodating. When I checked out, it was acqua alta so the water taxi couldn't come all the way in. Front desk kindly asked one of the porters to walk me down the canal to help me with my luggage. I am so relieved I didn't have navigate it on my own. They even had wine in our room as a welcoming gift. Very thoughtful!

La posizione davvero ottima ed incredibile gentilezza dello staff.

Cons:

L'unica pecca, anche per chi sta alla reception, è che l'ingresso ed il salottino subito di fronte erano davvero gelati e quindi impraticabili (troppo freddo per sedersi a leggere un libro senza giacca) - forse un problema col riscaldamento?
