Charming Uruguayan hospitality….. warm, friendly, helpful!

Geraldina the host was so accomodating and went above and beyond to help me sort some banking glitches! Very kind. I felt like I was staying wiyh a friend and I now know I was! The location was very handy which I didn’t fully appreciate until my second morning. The first was a short walk to the ferry terminal en route to Buenos Airing for the day. Lots of meal options and the historic water front in interesting and delightful. Rincon Colonia gave me a little taste of ‘old’ Uruguay living and was charming! Sorting the hot water was a little challenging but I did it!

Pros:

Maison avec un joli jardin proche du centre historique , propriétaire très agréable qui laisse accès à tout dans la cuisine.Elle nous a laissé la grande chambre jusque tard parce qu’elle n’avait pas d’autre réservation derrière, c’était très appréciable .Les lits sont très confortables.

Cons:

Eau chaude / froide impossible à régler
La chambre sentait l’humidité à notre arrivée.Nous avons eu très froid, il a fallu attendre plusieurs heures pour que quelqu’un lui prête un radiateur électrique, ça m’a un peu gâché le séjour

Pros:

Supervriendelijke en behulpzame host! We waren iets vergeten en ze heeft het zelfs opgestuurd naar onze volgende reislocatie. De locatie is zeer centraal. De kamer was brandschoon, ruim en sfeervol ingericht. Zou het iedereen aanraden!

La mejor cama en la que dormí en un viaje
Pros:

Quiero volver más tiempo! La casa es hermosa, la habitación enorme, la cama es una locura de cómoda y hay 4 tipos de almohadas diferentes. Todo es un placer! Se descansa de lujo.

El mejor hospedaje de Colonia del Sacramento
Pros:

Excelente, todo, la amabilidad de Geraldine... Lo impecable y bello del lugar, la buena ubicación del puerto y del centro!
Nos dejó hacer un late check out y nos guardo el equipaje hasta tarde para que podamos seguir recorriendo colonia, más que 10 puntos!!!
