I would stay here again. The owner told us a little about the rooms we stayed in. I like history.
Pros:

I loved the antique decor and the history of the building.

We were offered a basil lemonade upon our arrival. Refreshing.

The waiter, concierge, bell boy, Shadi, helped facilitate everything we needed.
He carried 3 heavy bags up two flights of stairs. He arranged a taxi to the airport after our stay.

We had supper in the restaurant the first evening of our stay. Food was outstanding.

Personal excepcional. Muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar y servir en todo lo necesario.

Cons:

Podría ser un alojamiento mucho mejor si dispusieran de un refrigerador mini bar y una mejor conexión a internet. Su internet es inestable.

Perfect location right above Damascus gate. Lovely Oriental style. Friendly and helpful owners. Good breakfast. Good value.

Cons:

There isn’t a gym or space to exercise (it’s in an old townhouse) but the East Jerusalem YMCA is just a couple blocks away.

Good location near old city and the market, bus, tram.
Lovely staff. They are very kind and warm.
Meals are perfect. They provide me meal box when I cannot eat during the breakfast time.
Good condition of the room, bed, restroom and hotel design. You can feel Arabic antique atmosphere.

Historická atmosféra
Hotel pripravil krásnu kyticu pre partnerku,

Cons:

Problém som mal s tým, že cez hotel sme si zabezpečili taxi, s ktorým sme sa dohodli na čase, trase a fixnej sume, ale vodič taxíka si trasu výrazne skrátil a nepreviedol nás tam, kde sme boli vopred dohodnutí, pričom vyžiadal rovnakú sumu. Vnímam to ako zlú referenciu na hotel, ktorý taxi objednával.
