Great location, value for money, food a little disappointing
Pros:

Montecatini Terme is a lovely, quiet leafy town with some very nice cafes and restaurants. The hotel location is perfectly placed near to the park the lovely Vialle Verdi, the spa and the main square. (See photos) . We came by train and it’s around a 20 minute walk away from the station. The funicular up to Montecatini Alto is just a 10 minute walk and well worth going.
At the hotel the front bar and seating areas inside are very pleasant. It has a lovely, well-kept frontage and pool area. It’s very pleasant to enjoy early or late evening drinks there.
The swimming pool was a real bonus to our stay and we used it a lot. The bed was comfortable and everything spotlessly clean.
The staff were mostly very friendly and all were very helpful.

Cons:

We’d rate the breakfast between adequate -nice. The best features were the croissants and yoghurt cake and the mozzarella balls and tomatoes were nice with crusty bread. The machine yoghurt was awful. Grapes were left to go brown after serving them several days running.
Take out breakfast wouldn’t be hard to improve - we had to get an early train and were provided with two tiny, unbuttered sandwiches, bottled water and an apple.
We had an evening meal there just once - my husband’s meal came with mash which looked like grey, salty and sloppy like you get from powdered mash.
The rooms, though comfortable and very clean do need updating from the 70s style furniture. It was nice to have a balcony but there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room to enjoy it first thing in the morning.

Heerlijke plek en goede service, toplocatie en uitval basis om mooie plekken te verkennen.
Pros:

De locatie was top gelegen, vlakbij de Thermen Tettucio en het park. Het ontbijt was goed en het diner was heel goed, ook hebben we erg genoten van de cocktails in de avond. Goede airco en verzorging van het beddengoed.

Cons:

Wel kunnen de kamers een verfje gebruiken, er zaten vlekken op de muur. De badkamer met douche was gedateerd en erg krap. Het regelen van de waterkraan werd heel heet en kon bijna niet koud worden afgestemd, tip: waterregulering goed aftemmen van warm en koud. Er lag niets in het ijskastje/minibar, tip: twee flesjes water minimaal. Er waren te weinig hangers in de kleding kast. Tip: doe alle hangers hetzelfde en minimaal 15-20 stuks

Rien mis à part les femmes d'entretien et une des réceptionnistes ainsi que pour le service des barmans.

Cons:

Arrivés dans une chambre (361) qui ne ressemblait aucunement à celles des photos, salle de bain miniature, climatisation non fonctionnelle (critère principal pour le choix du lieu).

Après deux jours de plaintes où il nous a été promis qu'un réparateur viendrait, on finit par demander le changement de chambre puisque la température excédait les 30 degrés dans la chambre.
Une nouvelle chambre nous a été attribuée, une chambre avec balcon (360).
Nous leur avons demandé si les frais concernant le balcon allait nous être facturé. La réceptionniste nous a répondu qu'il s'agissait de leur faute et qu'aucun frais supplémentaires ne seraient ajoutés.
Nous avons alors accepté cet échange.

Concernant la nourriture (que ce soit au restaurant ou le buffet petit déjeuner) laissait vraiment à désirer. Très peu de choix pour 10€ (déjeuner), prix moyen pour nous servir des quantités miniaturisées (restaurant).

Au moment de payer le petit déjeuner et les quelques boissons consommées, on nous demande de payer 20€/jour passé dans la chambre avec balcon.
On leur explique que selon leurs dires, ils avaient certifié qu'aucun frais ne serait ajouté à cause du dérangement occasionné.
La réceptionniste est assez confuse et précise que nous devons quand même payer pour les frais.
Puis après, elle s'est rendu compte qu'il y avait une note qui disait que nous ne devions pas payer les frais supplémentaires.
Tout ressemblait, à quelque chose de bien travailler au préalable.

Great hotel, great location!
Pros:

I wanted to stay here because they have an outdoor pool and around the corner is the shopping booths where I frequent one particular vendor (Valentina’s) and always buy clothes there. Staff were warm and friendly, very helpful.
I had a beautiful room. I was so tired from the last one (where i did not have a good experience) that I felt like I could stay there and just recover in the room for three days. Breakfast was included and i really enjoyed the homemade cake and pastries.
Hotel is 10 min walk directly up from the train station. And it is adjacent to the beautiful parco de terme we there are fabulous buildings of the thermal baths, expensive green lawns many beautiful trees with places to sit in many paths for walking or jogging.
