Pros:

Very nice old hotel it reminded me of the old hotels I stayed in in Britain

Cons:

The shower was a little slippery, and from time to time the ghost would open the door apart from that it was good

Not great, wouldn’t recommend unless you were desperate
Pros:

Location

Cons:

The room was very cramped, the decor very dated and cheap, the bathroom had rust showing in the bath/shower, the inner courtyard view was dismal and to top it off you could feel the spring through the mattress. Very disappointed.

If there was a nicer room i would visit again
Pros:

Didn't do breakfast
Room was very old and a bit smokey.
Shower was old and not up to standard, paint peeling and grubby. Sorry, but it was a shame that room was just old and not charming in any way at all. I like a thick towel and a bedspread not from the 70's, it was a bit depressing to be fair.

Cons:

Old shower that was not inviting
Dated linen
Smokey smell in room

I had a lovely meal in the dining room.
Pros:

The hotel was a few minutes' walk away from the railway station & is ideal for walking around the city.

Cons:

One side of the electric blanket did not work.

Overall, the Leviathan is a reliable, budget, pleasant-enough hotel.
Pros:

I like that you can park easily at the Hotel and walk to anywhere in the CBD. And I love the polished wooden stairs and orignial, historic style of the hotel.

Cons:

My room didn't have fridge, microwave or anywhere to hang clothes, unlike the rooms I usually get at this hotel. Perhaps the luck of the draw for a last minute booking.

This building is obviously for the ghost chasers as there is apparently a lady who inhabits the third floor!
Pros:

Walking distance to some really great places to eat.

Cons:

Out-dated - pictures on site don’t reflect the building. Can hear the people clearly in the rooms next door.

A very successful stay for my grandchild's 1st birthday in North East Valley.
Pros:

We had the suite up in the prow for 5 days. Suited us really well. We didn't use any other hotel facilities. Close to Octagon, had easy parking, the heater and all room facilities worked well, bed was comfortable.

Cons:

It's a 2-star city hotel, we chose it, having run a similar place ourselves for years. No complaints. A grand old lady in turbulent times.
