A handy spot in Matara.
Pros:

The breakfast and location where excellent

Cons:

There was no view from the room as only window has no glass, so when shutter closed , no outside views

Not so pleasant stay
Pros:

Rooms were clean and the location of the hotel is perfect. No exhaust in the bathroom.

Cons:

No complimentary water bottles. The card machine at reception was not working unfortunately which was inconvenient.
We were asked to pay extra on MRP for water bottles if we had to buy them

Has potential but needs a lot of work to come up to scratch.
Pros:

Location good for intercity bus stop. Right on the beach. Grounds could be made attractive. A/C worked ok. Great restaurant next door.

Cons:

Toilet bowl was dirty. Complained to staff. They spent 30 mins re cleaning whole bathroom but I had to wait for them to finish before re-locking door. Then I had to ask for toilet paper as there was none. There was a fridge (turned off) that was filthy inside. Grout in most of bathroom was covered in mold. Maybe once the tourist season starts they will get onto all this but at the moment cleanliness is not there.

The breakfast was amazing & room, gardening view and the calm & very clean environment. The beach side gardening is very nice at night. The staff was very kind & helpful.
