Hwangridan Stay

The Wifi was catastrophic, and for some reason my cellphone 4G reception couldn't reach as well within the hotel room, which made it impossible for me to do work meetings that were quite important.
Very frustrating experience.
Last very minor thing:
There were no hooks to hang the towels after showering... nowhere to put them at all. Very strange.
The staff was 50/50: the check-in person was quite friendly, but the next day the person at breakfast was beyond unfriendly, he was frustrated & made me feel quite unwelcome. For a hotel at this pricing point, this is unexpected...

Limited shelving in the Bathroom, had to leave toilet bag in main room.

We couldn’t use the pool until midday, after official check out at 11.00am, and as a guest you were charged extra to use it.

I think perhaps there is no kitchen yet but would be nice to be able to offer breakfast.

1. I had to pay in advance a month before my check-in and on the day of my arrival, they called me and informed me that an additional person couldn’t stay. I have a conversation message saved, and they ultimately agreed, but it was a rather unpleasant start. Of course, I paid for the additional guest.

2. I arrived at 2:45 pm and was denied check-in. I know the check-in time is 3:00 pm, but 15 minutes is unreasonable. I don’t expect this kind of service in Korea.

3. There is a free drink per day for staying customers, but no one mentioned or offered it to me. I ended up not using it at all. It would have been great if they had offered it when I had to wait 15 minutes before check-in.

4. The worst part was the wifi. It was not working well in my room, and I had to ask which one worked. As we were in and out of the room, I wasted a whole day trying different lines. I told them to check it out, and they fixed it around evening the day before I checked out (I stayed for two nights). As an overseas customer, wifi is very important, and it was very disappointing.

Overall, I felt this place wasn’t suitable for families. I stayed with my 10-year-old son, and later my sister joined us. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re more than two people, including children. I chose this place because the reviews were 9+ but I don’t think the service levels are high enough. I’ve noticed that their service is quite passive and not very willing to help.

The fridge wasn't really cold inside. No breakfasts (but a complimentary sandwich and drink).

Despite having a large room with very nice finishes it was ergonomically very strange, which made use of the room quite awkward. Also, no laundry facility and the pool was closed because of rain. Despite this I would stay there again.

Équipement tape à l’oeil, inutile.
Personnel peu aimable.

There was no signage to the reception which was a little confusing but other than that nothing else

The room was quirky! Too quirky for me.

The room had 2 tiny windows - one window I didn’t investigate because I would have had to get into the wooden bath, another the other opened onto the wall for an adjacent building and people next door could see in.

Supposed to have had a pool but I don’t know where.

Not good value for me because I felt uncomfortable in the room.

After showering , the whole bathroom floor and toilet gets wet as there is only a small 1 foot glass panel separating the shower area.
