The hotel’s location, rooms, cleanliness, facilities, and breakfast were excellent.
I When we arrived early, we asked whether early check-in was available. We were initially told that early check-in was possible for an additional fee, and we agreed. However, we were then informed that our room was not ready. This response was confusing because if the room was not available, early check-in was simply not possible at that time. It would have been clearer to explain from the beginning that early check-in could not be offered because the room was not yet ready. Additionally, it would have been a nice gesture to allow guests to use the pool facilities while waiting for their rooms.
Another issue was the restaurant. The food we ordered for dinner was tasty, but the portions were extremely small considering the price. We were still hungry afterward and ended up going out to buy pizza. For the same price, we would have expected a much more reasonable portion size.
We also experienced a problem during check-out. Our reservation was made and paid for in advance for two adults, one child, and one baby. However, at check-out, we were unexpectedly charged for an extra bed. We explained that this did not seem correct, and the receptionist said they needed to check with the manager. We then had to wait for more than 30 minutes before they finally confirmed that the charge had been added by mistake and refunded it.
Additionally, there was no separate queue for guests checking in and checking out. While trying to check out, we had to wait in the same line as arriving guests, which created an unnecessary delay.

The girl at reception was very rude.
Vi hade bokat och fått bekräftat att äta middag på slottet men vid incheckning fick vi reda på att slottet var abonnerat.
Vi blev lovade någon form av kompensation vid middagen i den ordinarie restaurangen men såg inget av detta vid utcheckningen…..

However, our overall experience was disappointing due to poor management. When we arrived, we asked for an early check-in subject to it fee. We were told that an additional fee could be charged, but that our rooms were not ready. We did not understand why an extra fee would be requested if the rooms were unavailable.
We also made a reservation at Sugar Club for dinner, but the food portions served were very small and insufficient. In addition, the service was very slow.
Unfortunately, despite being such a beautiful hotel, poor management resulted in a negative guest experience. The check-in and check-out processes took far too long, and we did not receive the support we needed. We arrived at the hotel excited, but left disappointed with our overall experience.

Personalet er imødekommende, professionelle og personlige på samme tid. De virkede oprigtigt interesserede i, vi skulle have et godt ophold.
Værelset var hyggeligt, rummeligt og rent. Godt udvalg i minibar og snack-kurv.
Alle måltider var over forventning. Friske råvarer og perfekt tilberedning. Forårsmenuen i Hill House med lækre friske asparges og pighvar var absolut et af højdepunkterne.
De opvarmede pools var en helt særlig oplevelse i aprils blæsende 10-12 grader. Det blev til adskillige timer i vandet, mens vi nød udsigten, dyrelivet og en forbipasserende skibstrafik.
Vi kommer tilbage! Og vi glæder os allerede.

Super super lækker morgenmad - der var SÅ meget fantastisk at vælge imellem. Super lækker middag og udvalg af vine i Hill House og stedet i det hele tager ligger fantastisk
Der er desværre al for meget OS fra de forskellige pejse og bålsteder både i receptionen og i jeres spaområde.
Stakkels jeres medarbejdere der står i det hver dag - det kan ikke være sundt
Den italienska middagen som bestod av ett flertal tapasrätter ar mycket välsmakande såväl frukosten. Fint gym, härlig bastu. Härligt rum. Trevlig personal, gott bemötande.
Inga stolar på rummet. Hade varit bra med ett litet runt bord och 2 stolar.

Check in borde vara tidigare och check out är för tidigt att vara kl11. Tiderna är mer som ett standard hotel. Annars inget annat alls!
Vissa i personalen var otrevliga. Fick jättetråkigt bemötande från flera personer i personalen. Bland annat när vi skulle ställa saker i bagageutrymmet, då agerade en i personalen som att vi var där för att bryta oss in. Detta trots att kollegan hänvisat oss dit.
