The Quieter side of Lake Como
Pros:

The location was close to the lake and an easy walk to the station. The small studio was comfortable and modern with a fridge, coffee machine and kettle.

We liked the village very much - quiet and with friendly people and easy to explore the area by train and ferry but very crowded in the weekends even in March.

It was also easy to take a train to Tirano and onward by the Bernina Express to Chur in one day.

Cons:

We had been allocated a top storey apartment but found it was 3 stories up with the 3rd staircase having open and steep and narrow steps. The owner could only offer the small studio which we accepted as another guest started to take our heavy cases but wasn't going to be around to take them down when we left. Probably our fault for not checking.

Stanza moderna, nuova e pulita, ottima posizione abbastanza vicine alla stazione e pochi passi dal lago. Bagno moderno con zona doccia ampia e moderna con cascata cervicale.

Cons:

Campanile proprio a di fronte, bidet montato troppo vicino al muro si faceva fatica ad inserire la gamba destra. Non siamo riusciti a chiudere le persiane della finestra

The noises from other guesses leaving. Noise from the main door being closed and corridor .

The room was quite compact and there were too many stairs to carry luggage up, before reaching the main door.

Difficult to find a parking spot.
No breakfast "included "option available

I didn't like the request to do the check in days in advance of our arrival , while we were travelling.
