Pros:

Everyone at Front desk was very helpful and super nice. Location was great right in the middle of everything.coffee at reception.

Cons:

Very dated room, furniture looked like it’s been put together from a garage sale. Terrible bedding not cotton ,bad towels, bad shower no power unreliable hot water and in tub. dated and dirty marked flooring old carpet cut and placed in the cupboard. Didn’t feel like touching anything. Terrace is ok, was too hot to use it.. Weird ac cooler on the floor not a good look. Found 3 mini cockroaches and spiders on the bed. Lucern is so beautiful but I couldn’t wait to leave as the room was so bad. Lucern is expensive but for £230 a night with no breakfast, what you get for you money is a joke, least I expect is basic comfort required for a stay , nice hot water shower, room interior from this era , good linen and no cockroaches, not such a tall ask.

Pros:

The location is perfect! The room is small, but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also received a visitor card, which allowed us to use the city's public transportation free of charge.

Cons:

We stayed here during the summer and the air conditioning was an old-style floor unit that was very noisy. Even if you turned it off, you could still hear the same loud noise coming from the units in the neighboring rooms.

Bunk beds for the kids, swimming pool, sauna, portable AC machine which made a huge difference in the summer!
Pros:

It has a good pool to swim given its location and being the only hotel with a pool in old town. There is also a sauna room. The beds were comfortable and it was the best stay that we had so far in switzerland.

Great hotel, great price, great location, great people.
Pros:

Everything, family room with great spaces, location couldn't be better. The staff at reception super friendly, clean, I mean, 100% recommended and would go back there anytime.

Amazing trip back to Lucerne after more than 20 years
Pros:

The location. It’s close to the bridges and eateries and a short walk to the old town.
Good thing that we had a portable aircon unit. It really helped to cool the small space we had for a room.

Cons:

We can’t really complain as we were aware that the room we booked was small. It’s amazing that they really make it work for such a small space.

Schönes Hotel in der Luzerner Altstadt
Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt: Nur Gehminuten zur Luzerner Altstadt. Ein echter Bonus: Nur 250m zur Einstiegsstelle, ab der man in der Reuss schwimmen kann.
Herausragend: Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Immer hilfsbereit und kompetent. Auch schön: Kaffee, soviel man möchte.

Nydelig by, topp beliggenhet og kjempehyggelige ansatte – men altfor dyrt for den lave hotellstandarden.
Pros:

Luzern er en fantastisk nydelig by, og plasseringen til dette hotellet er helt suveren. Det ligger i gåavstand til alt av restauranter, trebroene og folkelivet i gamlebyen, noe som var veldig praktisk for oss som reiste med barn. De ansatte var også utrolig hyggelige, imøtekommende og hjelpsomme fra det sekundet vi kom, noe vi satte utrolig stor pris på!

Cons:

Hotellet er gammelt, og til nærmere 5000 kroner for én natt forventer man langt høyere standard. Familierommet til 5 var i praksis bare ett enkelt rom stappet fullt med senger, så det var minimalt med gulvplass. Airconditionen var veldig dårlig og klarte ikke å kjøle ned rommet skikkelig, og det var dårlig trykk i dusjen. Bassenget i bakgården var veldig kaldt, og det var i tillegg lite plass til å sitte ute rundt det. Man betaler i overkant mye for kun beliggenheten her.

Perfect for Families
Pros:

The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. We stayed in the 8 person room and it was perfect for a family of 5 to spread out. The room was a bit dated but its old charm. It also had a portable air conditioner which was very nice. The bathroom was huge. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus for relaxing after a long day of hiking and site seeing. The location was perfect and not a bad walk from the train station with luggage.
