Pros:

Большой просторный номер с балконом. С балкона открывается вид на ресторан и океан. Шум океана прекрасно слышно в номере и на меня действует как "белый шум". Еда вресторане - выше всяких похвал, каждый найдет себе что-то по душе, и точно не останется равнодушным. Мои топ - это боул с тунцом - просто бомба. Отдельное спасибо персоналу, который во всем помогает, также помогли устроить сюрприз подруге на день рождение. Такое отношение очень ценно и хочется вернуться вновь и вновь.

Лучшее, что с вами может случиться в Хиккадува
Pros:

Место, в которое хочется вернуться. В этом отеле уже не первый раз. Номер с кроватью кинг-сайз очень уютный, особенно впечатляет душ с видом на океан. Балкончик с видом на океан - просто сказка. Ребята, которые работают в отеле и рестораны очень дружелюбные и готовы всем помочь при необходимости. Отель прям на океане, вышел босиком и ты уже счастлив. Ротрясающий ресторан. Аутентичные шриланкийские завтраки , которые могут не все оценить, но кокосовые лепешки и их домашний джем восхитительны.

Cons:

Поставить в номер сушилку для одежды как в номерах с видом на море.

Nice beach front hotel
Pros:

The location was good, right on the beach and they had quite a few sunbeds/chairs available.
The food & drinks were very nice.
Staff friendly
Nice size balcony to watch the sunset
Decent size rooms

Cons:

The room we had did feel a little rundown, needs some TLC on the paint work, Flaking off.
The beds are a little on the hard side and only one pillow each.
Would have preferred a thin duvet over a Thin sheet
Didnt have a mini fridge
Didn’t have a full length mirror

Toller Ort, nette chillige Menschen, macht einfach Spaß.
Pros:

Die Lage ist einfach klasse, direkt am Strand. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, immer flott unterwegs. Speisekarte übersichtlich, aber sehr lecker, Cocktails klasse und die Getränke kalt. Die Betten sind bequem und die Dusche heiß und es kommt genug Wasser raus. Also alles gut.

Cons:

Ein paar kleinere Reparaturarbeiten in den Zimmern könnten durchgeführt werden, das sind aber Kleinigkeiten.

Pros:

Was das Hotel hauptsächlich ausmacht:
- das super freundliche Personal!!
- das tolle Mittag- und Abendessen (bestes Restaurant mit den besten Cocktails auf unserer Reise) auch wenn man hier mehr zahlt als woanders, die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke ist super.
- Zimmer war für den Preis absolut ok
- Lage direkt am Strand

Cons:

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Gartenblick.
- an der Tür zum offenen Bad waren überall Lücken.
- Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung laut geknarrt
- Klimaanlage war sehr laut obwohl sie ganz neu war
- die Terrasse war bei Regen komplett nass weil das Dach nicht dicht ist.
- offenes Bad muss man mögen
- Frühstücksauswahl
- ständig laufende Musik, leider zu laut. Man kann aber in das Schwesterhotel gehen, dort ist es schön ruhig
- kein Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher für Tee im Zimmer

Ich würde trotzdem wieder kommen

Pros:

La posizione è perfetta, sulla spiaggia.
Ha un ottimo ristorante e anche la scuola surf/noleggio

Cons:

Se proprio devo trovare una miglioria, beh, il bagno avrebbe bisogno di un aggiornamento. Anche i cuscini del letto non sono molto comodi

We liked it, very much recommended
Pros:

We liked everything, location right in the beach, good food in the restaurant and excellent breakfast with outstanding coffee menu. Large room with balcony and sea view. Professional and friendly staff.

Cons:

You will obviously find cheaper accommodation options in Hikkaduwa, it was one of the most expensive rooms during our 3 weeks trip to Sri Lanka but definitely worth it.

Very relaxing, would recommend if you’re in hikkaduwa
Pros:

The room was really nice and the bed was comfy. The hotel is right on the beach, so is great to have breakfast at in the morning or dinner in the evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they also helped me with arranging pickups from the airport and to Ella at the end of my stay

Ankommen und wohlfühlen
Pros:

Amaroo ist der schönste Ort in Hikkaduwa, wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt. Inhaber, Personal, Essen, Unterkunft ist alles wunderbar. Wir würden hier wieder herkommen und es auch empfehlen!

Wir hatten leider ein kleines Problem, das aber sofort und unglaublich gut gelöst wurde, vielen Dank nochmal an die Inhaber!

Boho Flair
Pros:

Der Flair war unglaublich, es war sauber und gepflegt. Das personal war immer freundlich und das Frühstück perfekt und sehr viel, sowie jeden Tag unterschiedlich. Eine schöne Lage am Strand, als auch zum shoppen und essen mit vielen Restaurants und Shops. :)

Location was great, staff were friendly, surprise breakfast provided each day. Access to sun beds and beach

Cons:

Bathroom could be better maintained, door wouldn’t close properly. Main door to apartment very difficult to slide open/close. Sandy areas in public space could be swept/cleaned occasionally.
