Pros:

Very clean and well furnished bedroom. Staff were friendly and attentive. A very obvious positive working environment with staff teamwork and rapport which made our stay even more pleasant.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely people, immaculate room with everything we could have asked for and more, nothing was too much trouble.
Pros:

Everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean, lovely area. We stayed in the “Whisky” room and couldn’t fault it at all .

Great hotel could not fault a thing will definitely be back

The room exceeded our expectations very comfortable and very clean
Could not fault the breakfast which we had in our room
The food at dinner was amazing we ate both nights in the restaurant nice wine
Muscles where to die for

Cons:

The only thing I would say is we stayed in suit 101 the window above the door let in a lot of light at night and wasn’t frosted or anything so you could see in if your going to the upstairs suit
Very small but would make I difference if frosted or covered over

Beautiful boutique getaway
Pros:

We were delighted with our stay. The dining staff were excellent. The quality of food & drinks great. We would probably pick a larger room next time but was a beautifully decorated room.

Pros:

Very friendly and welcoming. All the staff had pleasant personalities and were very engaging. The hotel has a certain sumptuous look about it which is reflected in the decor and the effort to theme the rooms. We dined both in the evening and morning. The food served was of a high quality and perfectly cooked, and not particularly expensive. It's a no- brainer eating here rather than traipsing around Ayr for something. A great deal of thought has gone into realising the owners vision of hospitality. They have succeeded in my estimation. We only stayed one night, but the welcome was such that we left with a tinge of regret. Would certainly use again.

Unexpected luxurious room.
Pros:

The bedroom was stunning with luxurious decor.
Very comfortable bed.
Staff were very friendly.
The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious.
The lady who was on breakfast service was very cheery and couldn't do enough for us.
Everything was spotless.

Cons:

I want to say that the following points are not negatives, but are my suggestions and preferences.
The room.
Whilst I understand the reed diffusers are all part of the room ambience. The fragrance was strong, and not one I enjoyed. I ended up putting it in the wardrobe and bringing it back out before we left.
The lighting in the room was very relaxing. However, it wasn't great for putting make-up on. It would have been great to have a brighter light by the window/dressing table and on the opposite side to the bathroom.
A couple more plug sockets in the room would have been great.
We unplugged the standard lamp( which I needed for make-up) and took turns with the iron, hairdryer, and straighteners using that one socket. Also, it would have been helpful to have a socket on the side of the bed nearest the door and by the big mirror.

Breakfast.
The choice of fresh juice was limited ( 2 if I remember plus water). It would have been helpful if they were labelled as it wasn't obvious from the colour what flavour they were.
There was a limited choice of wee boxes of cereal. There were whole pieces of fruit and pots of yoghurt . However, it would have been nice to have some granola with fruit salad.
The pastries seemed over baked. They were dry and hard and didn't seem fresh. I hate wasting food, but I couldn't eat it. It was the 3rd and 4th of January, so maybe there was a supply issue with it being over a holiday period.

Pros:

Beautiful immaculate hotel, the rooms are beautifully decorated. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and can't do enough for you. The food was fantastic with plenty to choose from and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

A fabulous stay
Pros:

My bedroom was a dream....the wee lamb room
Spotless, comfortable, and beautiful decor

Cons:

There is only a small cosy bar - which is lovely - but it would be nice to have another few chairs or couches in the communal reception area for other guests. ....this is not a complaint just an observation
