Fantastic Hotel! Worth every penny.
Pros:

An absolute 5-star experience! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and remarkably quiet, making for a genuinely peaceful stay. The air conditioning works perfectly, which made a huge difference. This hotel offers exceptional value for money it's worth every penny, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff are excellent and friendly.

Absolutely good
Pros:

We recently stayed at Lilac Hotel, Kumbakonam, and had a truly wonderful experience.

Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We had requested an extra bed, and instead of a rollaway bed, we were pleasantly surprised to find a proper double bed arranged for us, which made our family stay much more comfortable.

Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We were travelling with our 2.5-year-old son, and finding suitable food for him had been a challenge throughout our trip. During dinner, we ordered a meal for him, and Vijay from the restaurant kindly suggested serving it with fresh ghee and jaggery. At first, we were hesitant to introduce him to something new, but we decided to give it a try—and to our surprise, our little one absolutely loved it! The ghee was incredibly fresh and aromatic, and it made all the difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Vijay, Praba, and Chef Santhosh for their genuine care and hospitality. They checked on us several times during dinner to make sure everything was perfect. The following morning, Vijay remembered our son and asked the chef to prepare a special ghee and jaggery dosa just for him, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Chandru also took wonderful care of us at breakfast and even arranged to pack our son's lunch for the journey ahead.

It wasn't just the excellent service that stood out—it was the genuine kindness, thoughtfulness, and humanity shown by the entire team. They made us feel truly at home and cared for throughout our stay.

Thank you to everyone at Lilac Hotel for making our visit so memorable. We will definitely return for a longer stay in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kumbakonam.
