Bett aus groben Holzbalken in schöner Sitzhöhe..
Check in mit Türcode war unkompliziert. Das Personal sehr nett.

Cons:

Lacken mit Löchern im Rückenbereich, Wanduhr im Zimmer war stehen geblieben, Matratzen waren extrem hart.

Pros:

Das Alpenglühn ist ein wundervolles, eher kleines Hotel. Mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dekoriert, stimmig und keineswegs kitschig überladen. Ich war schon etwas schockverliebt. Ein Ort zum Sofortwohlfühlen. Alles war blitzeblank sauber und das Personal superlieb und aufmerksam. Abgesehen mal davon, dass die Rezeption nicht dauerhaft besetzt ist (das ist aber durchaus durch die gute Organisation verschmerzbar) wirklich alles top.
Die Lage ist etwas oberhalb des Ortskern und schön ruhig. Eine Bushaltestelle mit Verbinung nach Füssen ist fast direkt vor der Haustür, aber auch zu Fuß bieten sich viele direkte Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. In wenigen Minuten Fußweg mit Panoramablick auf den See ist man auch an der Uferpromenade.
Wir hatten ein ordentlich geräumiges Doppelzimmer mit großen Schrank, angemessen großen Tageslichtbad, viel Ablage- und Sitzmöglichkeiten und Balkon mit Seeblick. Das Zimmer und auch der Balkom war ruhig und auch von Aufzug hat man nichts mitbekommen. Alles in Allen war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt und ich kann das Alpenglühn nur weiterempfehlen.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war an und für sich top und es fehlte an nichts. Sogar Weißwürste und Brezel wurden angeboten. Was aber für mich garnicht geht, ist abgepackte Großmarktmarmeladenportionen. Hier hätte ich mir - gerade wenn man in so einer tollen Gegend Urlaub macht und es regional gute Produkte gibt - eben genau so etwas gewünscht.
Auch nicht so toll fand ich, dass man die Zimmerreinigung "extra" mit Schildchen an der Tür beantragen muss. Für mich eigentlich selbstverständlich, dass dies in einen Hotel automatisch gemacht wird und nicht umgekehrt. Zumal auch die Covid-Vorsichtsmaßnahmen mittlerweile etwas überholt sein sollten.

Nice place for an overnight stay in a lovely location, shame about the neighbours.
Pros:

Good location with a nice view over the Hopfensee. The room was large and comfortable with a balcony. Breakfast was good with cold and hot options.

Cons:

Could have better drinks making facilities in the room.
On the night we stayed, the restaurant across the road were hosting an incredibly noisy wedding reception with loud music that went on from mid afternoon to past 11pm, so that rather wrecked the otherwise quiet situation. Nothing the hotel could do about this, but perhaps worth bearing in mind if you are looking for total peace and quiet.
