A little elegance like the wonderful staircase in the middle of Malmaison
Pros:

Generally excellent hotel, accommodating to special requests. We were a group of friends having a 30 year reunion and were giving our own room for a dinner, a high point of my stay. Food, service and atmosphere excellent.

Cons:

The hotel does need a few cosmetic fixes, things like grouting in bathroom along with the filler around the bath looking old and mouldy. Little details need a big eye checking them everywhere in the hotel. There was a transmission problem with Sky Sports - little details!

Would book again
Pros:

Location was excellent for the train station. It was nice to walk out & see the hotel.

Breakfast was enjoyable.

Cons:

Two coffee stations are needed as there only one kept running out and lines formed.

I would also suggest 3 members of wait staff in the busy times as they were rushed off their feet.

The main staircase feels a tad dated.

Very enjoyable and relaxing
Pros:

The suite, on the top floor of the hotel, was very spacious and had a brilliant view out of the windows, towards the water, and bridge. Would definitely stay there again

Cons:

It could have benefitted from a small desk to work on but appreciate perhaps space was an issue
