Love the Malmaison. So handy for the station and for shops, pubs, restaurants. Room was very comfortable and spacious.
The lighting is not great. Bedside light fine though
Bed, Staff, Cocktails, Breakfast
This is my favourite place to stay when visiting friends or travelling through Dundee. Staff are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and my dog is always very welcomed too. A special thank you to Lewis, who is always kind and helpful, all front of house are, as well the staff working in the dining and bar areas.
The hotel kindly provides a bed and food bowls if you would like them, as well as a little treat bag with a ball, etc, which is a nice touch.
I often travel alone, and I always feel safe and homely here, I know I am always guaranteed a good sleep too.
I highly recommend this hotel and it will always be my first choice to stay when I visit.
Nothing
The bed was particularly comfortable and I had 2 great nights sleep
The hallways to the rooms looked a bit shabby - could do with a repaint
Location
Breakfast was very bad both days and cold
Booked a suite could not use bath as was flooding bedroom
The location of the hotel to city centre is superb. We loved the gorgeous sunny location of the room. On the 3rd floor so noise was minimal. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Nothing. Wish we could have stayed longer but family commitments back home.
Lovely room.We enjoyed a very nice evening meal at the restaurant and the breakfast the following morning wes excellent.
Central
Rooms comfortable
We ate at the hotel when we arrived. Food was very overpriced for what we had and was cold when it arrived.
The following day we waited 45 mins for a cooked breakfast.
Clearly not enough waiting staff on duty and due to the quality of the food and wait times, indicates possibly not enough kitchen staff either. Very disappointed. Expected better for the price
Location, comfortable bed, friendly staff
Cupboard door hanging off in room.
Breakfast poor, 40 min wait for an overcooked boiled egg. Only one tea/coffee machine for entire hotel. Really not good for a hotel of this standing. Premier Inn & Wetherspoons offer better breakfast experience
We were on the top floor, low ceiling but a huge room. In room facilities excellent.
Nothing
was very clean
how dark it was
Fantastic location, easy walkable to all shopping and restaurants. Staff were lovely and so helpful
Really creaky floorboards in our room and in the corridor area
