Cons:

It was a long waybout of town so cost a lot in taxi fares
There was littlr information once there about where we could go in the house so we stayed in the room
We stayed out longer between tours as it was too costly to go back

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly memorable homestay experience.
Pros:

This was our first ever homestay, and our third trip to Lapland — and Resort Kurjenoja has completely opened our eyes to a whole new way of travelling. It offered a far more authentic and personal experience than our previous trips, and we’re so glad we chose it.

From the moment we arrived, the host family were incredibly warm and welcoming. Our daughter had such a wonderful time, and we felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. We’ll admit we were a little hesitant at first when we learned there was a dog on-site, but we needn’t have been at all — Pimu was absolutely lovely, very friendly, and we even felt comfortable having her around our 2-year-old (who adored her!).

The accommodation was spotless, beautifully presented, and the room was warm, spacious, and comfortable. The host family shared fantastic local knowledge and gave great recommendations for things to see and places to eat, which really added to our visit.

Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home and giving us such a memorable stay. We truly enjoyed the experience and will definitely consider homestays again in the future — this one set the bar very high!

Nice option out of the crowd
Pros:

The room is really spacious, with all you need. If you arrive early enough you can use the sauna, kitchen is huge. The only thing that could be unpleasant is that you can't access the toilet directly from your room. Anyway the family is super nice and for me was not a problem at all.

Pros:

Extremly comfortable and beautiful room, with friendly host. Check-in was very flexible and we loved how nice the room was prepared. Not to far from Rovaniemi.

A very comfortable experience!
Pros:

The place is as astonishing as the pictures show.
The sauna with the many options of therapeutic oils to add is great after a day out in the cold or sport activities.
The family was just great, as nice and helpful as someone can imagine. If I would have known that the place was so well connected by car, I would have stayed there many more days.
